For immediate advancement in the delivery of healthcare at particular scenarios, systematic and data-guided activities need to be formulated. Quality improvement strategy entails any specific intervention whose goal is to minimize the quality gap for patients that are entangled in routine practice. The policies and programs are instrumental for an institution in improving healthcare quality, efficiency and patient outcomes. According to Graban (2016), some of the strategies used in the healthcare industry include Lean, Six Sigma, Bald ridge Quality Award Criteria among others. The one quality improvement strategy I use is lean. Lean as a quality improvement strategy aims at maximizing customer value and at the same time minimizing waste. It is central in the creation of more value for clients with fewer resources. That is categorically used in my nursing by working on a strategy to change the concentration of management from optimizing separate assets, technologies and vertical sectors to maximize products and services flow through the whole value systems. The waste is eliminated at the entire value flow, instead of using isolated points. The processes that come into operation require little human effort, less time, minimal capital, minimal space, and minimal costs (Graban, 2016). That is an indication of a clear improvement system that is going to help the organization to scale up to higher heights as compared to the traditional system. \
The assimilation of quality improvement strategies enhances leadership various ways. They provide a framework of operation from an older approach to a well-improved design. Transformational leadership is possible through this policy. Next, the goals and objectives in the healthcare endeavor are well spelt out. The strategies spell out key things and materials that are needed for efficient operations, for instance, adequate staffing, access to information technology services among others.
