Potential Solutions to the Problem Statements 

The existing policies governing the accessibility of healthcare covers should be revised to ensure the majority of the population access reliable healthcare covers. Equity-based healthcare institutions should corporate with the federal government to consider treating patients who do not have healthcare covers. The cost of treatment can be reduced by adopting emerging technologies in healthcare delivery. The digitalization of healthcare services will ensure that the cost of paper is spared. 

Moreover, the cost of healthcare will reduce through the development of more community-based healthcare institutions to ensure that low-income class can efficiently access affordable healthcare services. The cost of healthcare services will reduce if the government places emphasis on preventive interventions to avoid chronic conditions. Early treatment measures should deserve consideration to ensure that ailments do not worsen. 

Contribution to the Literature 

Other studies in the literature argue that the cost of healthcare is only reducible if healthcare is considered a function of the federal government. The various studies depict the affordability of healthcare as an economic element that can be addressed through the central government. The study of this paper, however, portrays that the cost of healthcare services will more be reduced through the construction of more community-based healthcare institutions other than making healthcare a function of the federal government. The study contributes to the literature through the proposal to concentrate resources on preventive interventions to ensure that diseases are treated early, and cost-effectiveness is achieved.
