Reflective practice is the process where an individual can reflect his actions to engage in the process of continuous learning ( What is Reflective Practice?. 2020). One can incorporate reflective practice in project development through participation in thoughtful conversations amongst one another in the classroom or the group members partaking in an individual project, which will enable theory-in- practice. Engaging in reflective conversation promotes cognitive training, which can be explained as a platform that supports learning to take place by granting the students the ability to acquire, develop and put in practice the cognitive tools in the authentic domain action(What is Reflective Practice?. 2020). Reflective practice allows learners to work and learn within the boundaries set by the task. Reflective practice will enable one to develop a project through the exchange of knowledge and ideas which are transferred from one individual to another through stories and discussions as well as participation in qualitative and quantitative research: successful outcomes lead to the development of ideas and success of the project.

Reflective practice is beneficial in the creation of an opportunity to develop new skills as well as encourage active engagement when working on a project. Using a regular reflective practice help supports meaningful discussion as well as effective communication with others while working on a project or development of ideas. Additionally, in the development of the projects, reflective practice has proven to be valid through the identification of areas that are authentic and drive strengths toward the development of projects. Also, reflective practice is a data-driven approach that allows the event of a valid way to evaluate knowledge and skills that are relevant in the development of authentic ideas. Response 1:

Yes, reflective practice is an aspect that allows one to build oneself in different elements; hence it will enable an individual to focus on the positive rather than the negative. Additionally, it works as a tool of measurement as you have said, in that it allows one to concentrate on the aspects of the project and help one assess the achieved goals. I heartily concur with your ideas on reflective practice on how it enables the establishment of trust and character in working on a project. Reflective practice allows one to reflect on his or her actions to allow the learning to take place. When working on a project, it is essential to reflect on our behaviors and make contributions towards the success of a plan as well as the establishment of trust amongst the members working on the same. Thinking through our actions grants us the ability to watch them and work towards a particular goal, especially if it is a collective responsibility, such as working on a specific project.Henceforth I agree with your ideas concerning reflective practice.

Response 2:

Yes, at some point, we all find ourselves applying the concept of reflective practice in our daily lives, thinking of who we are and trying to make ourselves better from what we already know about ourselves. Using the same techniques and applying the outcomes to achieve the success of a project is what is needed when applying reflective practice. Using technology to gain the insight of others and incorporating dialogue can be one of the measures to establish trust amongst the individuals taking part in the project. This does not mean it is the application of reflective practice; earlier, we had defined reflective practice as “ability to reflect on one's actions to engage in the process of continuous learning," implying that we reflect deeply on our actions to enable learning ( Johnston 2017). Hence the application of dialogue can be seen as the outcome of reflective practice.
