The health care system in the United States stands out to be the best among the industrialized countries. The system can best be described as a hybrid system because it does not operate as a national system or a multi-payer system universal system. The country has invested in the health care system, and recently it has enacted a law mandating coverage for almost all the citizens. The United States is renowned for its cutting-edge medical technology systems and biochemistry research, which has helped in the growth of the health care system. Despite its high standards quality health system, most people find it hard to access the service because of the high cost associated. According to the research conducted, most people not covered with the universal health care insurance coverage, which makes them get limited services. Due to the high cost of health care services such as pharmaceuticals most people find it hard to get treated. The health sectors also face other challenges like a lack of highly qualified personnel. However, services providers, leaders, and researchers have been working on the issue to ensure that they improve the services (Carter , 2019).
The health care system, however, has been of great importance for the citizens. Due to this, the government is restructuring the health care system so that it can give a high and quality services to the people and also create employment. Again, the government is focusing on restructuring the health care system, and nurses are going to benefit from this plan. It is in this reason that more nurses are going to be employment, meaning that more services will be available. The health sector is vital for the country since it plays a significant role in the growth of the economy. In the current generation, several diseases that are developing, and this requires more research to be done to prevent deaths. The nurses' play a significant role in the restructuring of the health care sector because, through them, more improved services will not go unnoticed. The move by the government is anticipated to be beneficial to citizen because when more jobs created, there is going to be a rise in the living standards. The community will also benefit from the project because the services will be readily available. Even though there will be few nurses in the acute care hospital patients will still receive quality services in those areas.

Nurses play a significant role because it is through them that hospitals quality of services is improved. The nursing practices are bound to increase when the hospitals' structure is to developed. The health care development will involve new facilities installed, which include state of the yard equipment that will facilitate services given in the hospital. The future of these services is determined by how the hospital will embrace technology internally. Due to the restructuring of health care delivery, almost all the policies that initially practiced would change to ensure that no conflicts arise later. One of the changes that are going to occur is that the nurses will go through thorough training. In doing this, it will ensure that they are well equipped with proper skills to handle any case presented to them. Besides, nurses are responsible for ensuring that the patients treated well, and the medication given to them at the right time. Hence the nurses receive necessary procedures on how to handle such tasks. Another practice that implemented is the involvement of nurses in the decision-making procedures about how activities within the hospital will be carried out. Nurses presence in decision making is vital because they are the ones close to the patients, and they have the know-how of what is required. Decision making in any organization is essential when all the stakeholders are entirely involved in preventing conflicts. Previously, nurses' involvement in decision making was limited because the management believed that they were not in a better position to make decisions.
With this, the nurses should learn how to analyze any challenges they encounter when delivering the services and develop a proper strategy to communicate it to the management. Nurses should be on the forefront in ensuring that all the activities run according to the stipulated policies and that no one feels left out. In restructuring the health care delivery system, the nurses are also expected to develop team-building activities. In doing this, it will help them in getting to know each other and enhance their relationships. According to Arnold and Boggs (2019), team building will also help in setting clear goals and objectives and also promote time and resources management. In this case, the working environment will improve; hence, the level of output increase. In the concept of continuity and continuum of care, the program will also enhance the standard of caregiving and medical care delivery to patients. The management will enhance continuity and continuum of care by initiating a day to day documentation of the activities undertaken. In doing this, it will lead to the delivery of appropriate services, especially to those who are dependant of the services, especially the elderly and those with complex conditions. Continuity and continuum of care are crucial for any health care facility because It improves the satisfaction level of patients and also reduces the cost incurred.
Accountable care organization is a group of health care providers who come together to provide high-quality services to the patients. The system focused on ensuring that it offers the right services to their patients at the appropriate time so that to prevent any medical errors in the future. The implementation of the health care service seeks to ensure that at least two or more accountable care organization serves the country. In this case, it means that more nurses have to join in the program. The group designed in a way that the health care personnel are highly qualified in this field because the program only emphasizes on quality services. The program will focus on specialist care delivery mean that training will have improved for the nurse who wishes to join an accountable care organization. The concept of medical home care will also be enhanced because the research did it is clear that medical care has been successful in the communities. The initiative of preventative home care focuses on quality and safety, which ensures that patients treated with respect and dignity. It is a kind of arrangement that requires the nurse to go to different homes to offer their services. The new program will improve this medical care model by training the nurses on how to handle various cases so that they can visit as many patients as possible. Again, this type of model requires a coordinated system. Due to this, the new program will introduce a new policy to govern this project, where some nurses will be needed to work extra time. In this case, it will make the medical service accessible at any time. With the help of nurse-managed health clinics, it will make it easier for the nurses to visit the homes with the patient. Due to the comprehensiveness of the duties involved by this system, the nurses offered counseling services. The reason behind this move is that the nurses, at times, face difficulties and stress when in line of duty, and this may lead to loss of confidence and fear. To make the nurses more competent in their work regardless of the challenges they encounter, they need regular counseling. The restructuring of the health care delivery system is vital for the economy because more jobs created, which means that health services stationed in many communities. Availability of health services is critical for the nation because a more productive society created. The roles of the nurses again will change significantly for the benefit of the health practitioners and the community ( Dowding and Barr2018).
After presenting the above-proposed changes to my colleagues in my unit of duties, they all hard different impression on it. At first, they were all amused by how the health care delivery system was carried out in the country. The restructuring of the system was the best move the management, and the government was taking in improving the services. The nurses were anticipating on this agenda because for the longest time they felt that something on the health services was to be changed. Some of the nurses thought that they were working overtime, and the work was too much. Besides, to ensure that they delivered high-quality services, a more flexible working arrangement was needed. All the nurses were optimistic about seeing the above proposal implemented. Job satisfaction with them was when they could work in an environment where they can exhaustively employ their knowledge and skills in their duties. The nurses I presented my presentation also agreed that for high-quality services delivery, they needed more high standard equipment to work. The role of the nurses was prone to change because the whole systems are to be replaced by a new and more advanced system. Besides, to make it more effective and efficient, roles and accountability of the nurse were to be changed. The nurses were impressed because they felt that through the new allocation of the task, it could allow specialization, and this will enable the smooth running of their duties.
Changing of roles, however, did not impress them all because some felt that the system was currently working for them and did not need the change. The role changing could also cause relocation far from their families and made them disagree with the new proposal. New changes mean new skills necessary for one to be competent. The fact that the nurses were to undergo further training that involved new technical skills and communication skills made them optimistic for the project. Some of the nurses felt that they were not competent enough to deal with some of the cases presented to them. Besides, they believed that through the training program, they were able to foresee a successful career in the future. Some of the nurses that I presented my proposal to were okay with the presentation. Because for new improvement, change must be the driver but never at any point did they feel they needed the change. However, all the nurses I consulted thought that they needed counseling now and then. However, to be able to deal with certain situations they encounter on their line of duty. The concept of medical homes and nurse-managed health clinics impressed many. It is because most of them lamented that nurses needed to work outside the hospital setting. Due to this, they believed that communities needed their services more, and it was time for them to reach out. The nurses' impression on my presentation was consistent with mine. It was due because they felt that they needed a new system that could work efficiently with the current trends emerging in the health care delivery system.
