Despite proposals in the literature that depression has critical results, this study had compared particular health and psychosocial outcomes of depression among stay at home mothers, employed mothers, and employed women with no children. The stay at home mothers have been reported to be more depressed most of their days. Working mothers and employed women without children, but, reported the almost equal percentage of depression amongst them. The same statistics were collected on the levels of sadness and worry. However, the most affected class is the stay at home mothers. The research was conducted on women between 18 and 64 years of age. The aim of this study is to reveal the major causes of depression in women, the stay at home mothers, working mothers, and working women without children.

Depression is one of the most predominant emotional illnesses brought forth by various factors, such as interactive affiliations among individuals, the responses and emotions of each person communicated openly and subtly to one another. An overpowering 91 percent of employed mothers tend to undergo certain symptoms of depression. Though several individuals are familiar with post-delivery depression in the months after delivery a lot of women are facing depressions. There are extremely several advantages to working mothers that it appeared to be a fault to be a stay at home mother (Brueck, 2018). However, each woman must consider individual advantages and limitations of getting employed far away from home. The aspects including financial status, spouse provision, children's age, work convenience, work desire, and health entirely contribute to the choice to be a stay at home mother or working mother.

A lot of people simply believe that becoming a homemaker is failing to use the maximum range of their abilities. Working mothers think like they are entirely utilizing their abilities, talents, and gifts in a more beneficial way compared to stay at home mothers (Stone , Holland, Bartholow, Crosby, Davis, & Wilkins, 2017). Problem-solving, academic inspiration and managing challenges improve sensations of self-esteem and confidence. Working mothers receive their own salary, which brings about liberation, independence, and security (Stone et al., 2017). Mothers with occupations can form personal choices concerning cash and purchases since they are able to account for how their funds are spent. There is a sense of fulfillment among working moms, and the economic aptitude to take care of their needs in case the marriage or partner's well-being fails. Likewise, the occupation has significant or impartial impacts on women’s health. Matching working mothers with the stay at home mothers on evaluates of self-esteem, psychological health, and mother character satisfaction have useful outcomes. The employed moms acquired improved emotional health and reported less depression than non-working mothers (Stone et al., 2017). The most regularly registered cause of stress for employed mothers was mainly not having enough time to perform all their tasks, while for stay at home moms shortage of societal interaction was a major challenge.

Women with career are in good health since as a working mother, one never have enough time. They tend you to feel as if they cannot do their best at home or on the job. This is along with so many other tasks that taking care of oneself regularly gets referred to the bottom of the to-do list. It is not hard to resent the stay-at-home mothers who tend to have enough time to exercise and take a daily yoga class (Bishop et al., 2014). Also, it appears rational to presume that permanent stay at home moms, having discharged the burdens of the workforce, would be in better health compared to all of the weary working moms. Notably, however, the reverse happens to be the situation.

Studies reveal that women with career have lower cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, as well as the lower weight which are health advantages that prove long-lasting. This research through a longitudinal survey revealed that by age 55, women who merged many responsibilities as parents, employees, and spouses were considerably less probable to experience ill health than women whose lives did not comprise all the three responsibilities. Stay at home moms greatly showed the likelihood to say that they were not in good health. Most importantly, the study was even intended to establish the purpose of source and result: Did women’s multi-tasking really give good health, or were healthy persons simply capable to achieve more? The findings submitted that good health was the result, rather than the source, of merging work with domestic life (Brueck, 2018).

Depressed people often experience memory lapse, uneven sleeping patterns, and irritability. If overlooked, depression may result in severe problems including suicide after a sequence of death ideas and the urge to get physically hurt. Suicide is thought to be the 10th primary source of death globally and rates of ended suicide are greater in males compared to females where males are up to four times more probable to commit suicide compared to females. As stated by the CDC, male deaths signify 79 percent of all the United States suicides (Banyard , Williams, & Siegel, 2003). Nevertheless, the proportions for not-deadly tried suicide are four times more probable in women than men and are more common in young grownups/youths. Suicide happens to be the subsequent foremost source of death for persons aged 15 to 34. Averagely, 38,000 deaths annually are recognized as suicide in the United States.

Even though therapists think it is not as easy to inhibit depression altogether, one may be able to prevent it from emerging once again in case someone already had an experience. Some therapists use a technique referred to as mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) to perform that (Ammerman , Putnam, Chard, Stevens, & Van Ginkel, 2012). MBCT merges cognitive therapy, which alters the manner in which one thinks, with awareness. The main aim of awareness is to concentrate on what is presently happening. The approach purposes to assist women with depression to be mindful of their undesirable beliefs and study to adjust them. Further concepts to avoid depression involve medicine, lifestyle changes, and nutrition (Ammerman et al., 2012). Other studies have revealed that such constant measures can lower fresh experiences of depression by 25 percent or extra, however, more studies need to be conducted on such methods.
