Self-assessment is a process of oneself examination to discover and even learn themselves in terms of the strengths, abilities, and other leadership skills. The process also helps discover the likes, dislikes, behaviors, and attitudes (Yeung, 2019). For continuity and growth, the assessment results can be used to one’s advantage in accepting or changing the strengths and weaknesses. For instance, leadership assessments are always important as they help individuals identify their weaknesses, hence areas that need development for an organization's continuity. This paper offers an analysis of my professional self-assessment to identify my leadership strengths and compare the results to Denise Morrison, Campbell’s soup.

Strengths
For effective leadership and management, an individual should have numerous professional and soft skills to enhance their abilities while handling their duties. From the professional assessments, I was able to identify my strengths and weaknesses as depicted by various skills and competencies, which placed me as a competent manager. Further, I realized that I could build my relationships and be a responsible person. Besides being a responsible leader, I also possess certain key communication skills, diplomacy, and values quality work.

Further, my self-assessment analysis was on responsibility, empathy, intellection, input, and achievement. These strengths are fairly as accurate as they are listed from the results, especially on leadership abilities. Ever on my duties, I always try to be a responsible leader, and such has enabled me to give a gateway to the other strengths that I possess. For instance, am always determined to treat people the same and believe that people can only function at their best when put to work in a consistent environment where rules and regulation are clear and applied to everyone equally. I always have a sense of empathy for others. As a leader, it is always important to understand the people you lead being in their situation to realize the challenges they are undergoing and understand their perspective. It is about being responsible, hence the ability to understand one another.
The other listed strength that I agree with is responsibility. As a leader, it is always m wish that I take any psychological ownership for anything that I commit to, and despite the size, I am always determined to follow it to completion. I believe that the way people brand you strictly depends on how one gets things done. Similarly, I cannot deliver on a task; it is always important to automatically start and look for ways that another person can take up the task. What matters to me is the organization's progress, and therefore am always focused on ensuring that an organization achieved its objective.
Finally, I belong to the significance theme category. My wish is always to see and work with people who are derived from excelling, hence, highly productive. It is always important for an individual to fulfill their satisfaction for accountability which fuels the determination to do things carefully.
Weaknesses.
Despite the strengths, I exhibit that I am always keen and have great attention to detail according to the professional assessment. Such appears to be a strength as it helps me achieve the best result and performance from the people I manage, yet it gives me hard time allocation and management of my time effectively. I always try to be keen on everything I do, ending up taking too long in handling one given task. Therefore, I must start focusing on developing how to manage my time and improving my motivational skills for others to increase my efficiency in result delivery and trust in others that can do better.

From the assessment results, my leadership characteristics can be compared to that exhibited by Denise Morrison, the Campbell Soup Company CEO. Denise Morrison is a known famous female CEO in North America and the whole world at large. Morrison rose the ladder to be the company's CEO after being there for eight years serving there. Morrison's career trajectory is interesting and similar to mine as she carefully managed her leadership development plan. For instance, she laid a strong foundation experience to enable her to perform her roles effectively. Before her time at Campbell Soup, Morrison worked for the same company for eight years and had 30 years of experience working in a food business. She knew one time she would be at the helm, and all that was needed was to build her experience enough to acquire the necessary skills.
Learning from my favorite and personal role model has been greatly important as I have gained experience in enhancing leadership and soft skills. From her leadership abilities, Morrison is an efficient leader and manager who has built-in herself multiple skills that have helped her achieve her management skills and as the CEO of Campbell Soup (Magpili, 2018). For instance, Morrison has the best communication ability, team-building skills, time management, and ability to solve her problems. From the analysis of her skills, it is evident that we share multiple skills with Morrison though I need to work on my excellence in time management, corporate problem-solving abilities, and risk-taking. They form the difference in our management skills. The skills we share include her ability to show initiative in what she is doing; she pays attention to detail and is always self-confident on tasks. These strengths have enabled Morrison to thrive at Campbell Soup company and take it to great heights.
Leadership and management.
Denise Morrison's business actions at the Campbell Soup Company are regarded as legendary, following what she did to succeed. Any business leader would be excited to achieve what Morrison achieved; hence it would be prudent to observe her leadership skills which involve her management skills (Wahad, 2020). To make it to the level she reached, she employed various managerial skills that played a crucial role in her achievements.
First, Morrison began by building on the foundational experience to perform effectively in her role. Years before getting to the top leadership helm, Denise Morrison had been at the Campbell Soup Company for over eight years. She also had more than thirty-year experience in the food business. Such experience helped her gain relevant information and tactics of managing a company like Campbell Soup company that she now her good foundation about. Besides her experience at the company, Denise Morrison was always prepared to become the first female CEO of Campbell Soup, especially at the age of 12 when she already knew she would one time run a business someday. Her dad, who used to the executive at AT&T, already shared his business knowledge with her at the time when she was still at grade school. Such experience built Morrison's career and managerial styles that she enjoyed at the Campbell Soup Company.
Secondly, Morrison had the courage needed for someone in the position of a company leader. Campbell Soup company had been in the market for over 150 years, and to succeed, she knew there was the need to do the business differently. The idea to change the company's certain operations required courage and ability to convince the board that the action taken was the only way to go. For instance, Morrison decided to acquire Bolthouse farms dealing with packaged carrots, premium beverages, and salad dressings. When she took office, there was already a trend in eating healthy hence it was her idea to diversify the company products by acquiring the $1.55 billion Bolthouse farms (Cagan-Abisch, 2019). Also, the idea to acquire Bolt house access created a brand that helped Campbell to a high margin refrigerated foods, a category of the company that was growing from 6 to seven percent. According to her, it was a demonstration of her leadership courage.
As the head of the company, Morrison was expected to follow the company guidelines and policies strictly. However, for Morrison, the moment she was made the CEO, she quickly took control and became proactive in her career. None of the great leaders indeed became great by relaxing and waiting for things to happen but made things happen. According to Morrison, women are challenged to remain proactive and be in control to advance in their careers, an idea that has served her well in her roles as she advances her leadership skills in the company. Denise has worked in some top consumer goods companies and very senior roles, and she has always remained very strategic in her leadership journey. Besides being proactive, Morison has been setting her ambitious goals as a success plan, pushing the limit to what she thought was possible to achieve.
It is not possible to succeed alone, and Denise Morrison was aware that she had to engage the input of mentors and sponsors for her to achieve her leadership ambitions. To harness the above stakeholders' energy and input, a leader must create the relationship of taking and give. It is important to network, which is one of the managerial skills that has greatly impacted Denise Morrison's management. She is always passionate about her tasks, and she is ever out to meet people and build a relationship that, in the long run, helps in the management and performance of Campbell Soup Company. For instance, several media outlets ever quoted one of her famous saying, “Women need to continue building strong networks that help them access information and be successful. I always tell women ‘networking is working.’’
As the CEO, serving the consumer is the core role that every manager must focus on to succeed. Any great leaders are aware that the company customers remain the kings and queens as they are the ones who rule. For the organization to remain relevant in the market, it must ensure that it creates products and services that customers demand. Denise Morrison embraced the idea and accepted the challenge to adapt, evolve, and even innovate at Campbell Soup company to a new customer needs. She has also ensured that the company customers remain aware of the specific products with genetically modified organisms as many other food agencies are always reluctant to release such information.
The possession of the leaders mentioned above skills and the competencies have enabled Morrison to push the Campbell Soup company to success. As the CEO, her plans are always to apply a goal drives approach in running the company to promote quality and enhance productivity and performance of the company. Most importantly, she has achieved increased profitability for the company. For instance, between 2011 and 2013, the company realized 2 percent and 7 percent net sales from simple meals and EBIT, respectively. Through her good managerial skills, she has also improved the company that now offers 50 new products than the initial three products offered in 2010. These skills and ambitions helped her in serving a significant role in the process.
There are several actions and managerial skills that helped Denise achieve her dreams at the Campbell company. From her dedication, responsibility, and focus, she took the company from just being a canned food company to a strong advocate for fresh food and ingredient transparency, making her remain the CEO leading change with purpose. She remains a reputable leader from her distinct actions regarding the decisions of the company. For instance, the 2016 instance when she called for industrywide and mandatory labeling for GMS and increased its stock price.
Benning a determined leader, Denise Morrison lead the company to a reorganization she had earlier announced. The reorganization included creating the position of an operation officer, a position that was filed by Luca Mignini, the former president of the global biscuits and snacks division for the same company. The company management implemented the reorganization and created a new accelerator unit to drive the fast-growing spaces such as the e-commerce unit, Campbell fresh, and digital unit. According to the reputation institute, there is a link between the CEOs' reputation and how the respective organizations are perceived by eth public. Such views in public enhance supportive behaviors across the stakeholder groups. In the united states, a CEO's reputation contributes to an organization's corporate reputation by 16percent, which is regarded as one of the highest across the world.
Therefore, in summary, the reputation created by Denise Morison has impacted positively on Campbell Soup company which has enhanced its uplifting in the market. Being a hardworking person whom everyone believed in, customers did not shy away, and it is through that a loophole she used in wooing its customers. Her social media and digital created a narrative that makes her be a responsible leader. For instance, she made a challenging decision that involves her action to exit President Donald Trump's advisory team. Her determination to support women's rights makes her a vocal supporter. Therefore, it is evident that Denise Morrison's learning excellence has helped me build my skills and areas of weaknesses, hence, personal and professional success.
