The one organization that I am quite familiar with is my involvement with an e-commerce sales company that deals with skin and wellness products. Apparently, this organization is quite reputable in its market niche, specifically for its performance and commitment to its line of products. Close examination of the company’s processes shows that the company operates under what most organizations identify as a supportive role, which involves partnering with other brand partners. For instance, salespersons are treated in a special manner since they are trained as entrepreneurs. The one change that needs assimilation in this organization is a workplace environment that eliminates hierarchical governance structure and also one that streamlines roles.

Therefore, organizations have no option other than aligning themselves accordingly, such that they can move with the trend. The postulated changes in this organization will surely impact its operations. In particular, I believe this change will help in new innovations, new opportunities, and new missions and visions. However, changes are troubling, which is why pertinent companies need to embrace the most suitable strategies. In this case, I am confident that Kotter’s 8 Step process will help in effective assimilation and accomplishment of these changes.

The significance of these changes is that they will affect the company’s outlook, and this will translate to a transition in how things are done. In fact, whenever changes take place, the affected business is faced with the need to organize its goal through policy changes, brand labeling, as well as the reorganization of its structure. Though my intentions are pure, I am certain that the changes will face some resistance, but I will try to address this through the recreation of management structures. Particularly tuning the inputs at mid-level management is crucial in helping this organization in adapting to new changes.
