The world around us requires all creatures to utilize their senses, including sight, hearing, and taste, that help us cope with our surroundings. The human sensory capacities are strong as they help the brain process the electrical information converted from real-world information. In addition, the eyes, ears, tongue, nose, and skin help us sense the world around us. This paper, therefore, seeks to highlight the probable outcomes of the world’s perception by human beings if they had more acute and sensitive senses than they already are.

If I had better vision, I would see what happens in the dark as bats do, and it would mean increased productivity for me and reduced fear of the dark. With sharp vision also, It will be easier for me to locate micro-objects if they get lost or disappear, amongst other stuff. Reading articles and micro wordings on objects would also be easier with better vision, thus eliminating strain in that font. I would also love to have the ability to see what happens in different locations, including various countries from my location.

If I were able to hear better than I do now, I'd wish to hear people from miles away instead of the little I can grasp now from a minimized distance. Communication would be easier with the ability to hear people who are close to you and those far away from us. With a better sense of hearing, I would also hear sound signals of danger from far away and act promptly towards safety.

Senses of smell and taste are correlated as they help us interpret the chemical world. The convergence of the two senses allows us to detect food flavours, hence explaining why they can not be more sensitive than they already are. With the constant evolutions taking place across the world, the human sensory systems will automatically change to see and hear important things around us. Therefore, our ability to taste and smell new foods and chemical compositions in the environment will be a necessity.
