Both the nursing and the legislative process are similar because the two methods deal with critical events affecting the public. The legislative process ensures that proposed bills become laws. On the other hand, in the nursing process, the goal is to see positive patient outcomes after nursing care. Both methods follow clear established steps such as assessment, diagnosis, planning, evaluation, and implementation.

Responses

Danielle Schwartz

Her discussion is excellent. She starts by clearly explaining what the nursing and the legislative process entail. She states the nursing process steps, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. Both approaches are systematic and work to receive the desired output at the end of a specific period. It is true because nursing aims to identify a patient's health status, possible health needs, or problems and, in the process, provide interventions to solve such problems ( Ljungbeck et al. 104560). N urses also ensure they offer individualized, effective, efficient, and holistic nursing care to help patients get well faster. The goal of the legislative process is to ensure that proposed bills become laws after passing through all the necessary legal steps, such as being approved by respective committees. The result of both approaches is to ensure that both processes have a positive and impactful output ( Squires & Dorsen 20)

Similarly, both approaches provide the enactors with opportunities to make corrections and improvements and ensure that they show positive growth. The latter is true because nurses have the freedom to influence the nursing process and make necessary changes as long as the changes have a positive impact. The legislative processes may undergo changes and improvements to ensure that the needs of all people are included and to ensure transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.

Linette Garcia Gomez

Just like Danielle, Linette also gives a comprehensive analysis of both processes. Using previous studies and research, she reveals the similarities between the two methods by explaining the legislative process and all the essential steps. She also describes how both processes influence each other by focusing on how the nursing process is affected by the legislative process.
