The world population has been increasing, but the natural resources are decreasing. Some of the ancient resources have become extinct. In spite of an increase in human population, some living things do not exist. There have been changes in the climate due to the rise in the use of technology equipment that emits harmful gases. Further, individuals use greenhouses to produce resources for consumption, but they have increased harmful gases in the atmosphere. Activities such as deforestation have emerged due to population growth. The emission of gases to the environment threatens human, plant, and animal life ( Does Population Growth Impact Climate Change? n.d. ). Individuals are polluting water bodies, and the marine population has reduced. The climate changes influence the global project and poverty rates in economies. Therefore, there is a need to combat human activities to sustain the natural resources for future generations.
Greenhouses are artificial structures made from a clear material such as glass where people grow plants under specific temperatures. The citizens of Turkey use greenhouses to cultivate fresh fruits and vegetables. The area covered by greenhouses in Turkey is approximately 714,000 acres. Out of the 714,000 acres of land, 88% of greenhouses contain vegetables (Busby, 2018). Greenhouses emit harmful gases to the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide which is the major component. Also, the greenhouses emit small volumes of nitrous oxide and methane gases (Busby, 2018). The gases are harmful because they deplete the ozone layer which increases the temperatures on earth. The ozone layer contains the stratosphere that prevents human and wild life from harsh radiation rays of the sun. The climate patterns are changing due to the effects of depleting the ozone layer. Some areas are experiencing extremely hot temperatures. Alternatively, other regions encounter very cold seasons (Busby, 2018). Turkey experiences heavy storms or severe droughts due to the changes in climate patterns.

The emission of greenhouse gases influences the economic, social, security, and political activities in the world. The release of harmful gases to the atmosphere has increased the migration rates in Turkey. The citizens in Turkey are experiencing the effects of global warming, and they migrate from areas around the water bodies due to a rise in the sea levels. Other areas in Turkey experience droughts and the citizens have to relocate to fertile areas. The harmful gases affect agricultural productivity in Turkey (Busby, 2018). Global warming disrupts the environmental activities in Turkey. The large volumes of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere disrupt the rainfall patterns which affects the agricultural activities. Further, the high temperatures are not suitable for plant life. The low-latitude areas in Turkey have become unproductive due to an increase in temperature (Busby, 2018). Global warming has disrupted the productivity patterns in the areas above the sea level. The gases are a threat to the health of human beings. The citizens of Turkey are experiencing complicated health problems related to the increase in temperatures. The sun rays are harmful to the health of the world population. There has been an increase in cancer cases in Turkey (Busby, 2018). The change in weather pattern increases the spread of diseases such as malaria and diarrhea. The greenhouse crops are not healthy which has increased the risks of contracting diseases. Global warming has affected the sea levels of water bodies in Turkey. The gases damage the surface water which increases the sea levels. Global warming has increased poverty and inequality rates across the world (Busby, 2018). Low-income families lack resources to cope with change in weather patterns. The residents of Turkey adjust their lifestyle during drought or floods. Global warming increases water and food shortage, and the residents spend money in buying meals (Busby, 2018). The severe weather patterns have led to the damage of property and infrastructure. Floods damage the roads and houses which is a loss to the citizens of Turkey (Busby, 2018). The high temperatures have destroyed the animal habitat. Some animals live in cold regions; thus, they migrate when the temperatures increase. The animals might die because of the environmental changes (Lyons, 2018). Coral reef has become extinct in Turkey due to the changes in weather. Most of the natural resources are depleted due to the climatic changes.
There is a need for controlling the global population to reduce the loss of natural resources. One of the ways of controlling the growth of the world population is increasing development project in Turkey. Lack of development is related to low income, education, poor medical facilities, and high mortality rates (Palfrey, 2017). Turkey should improve the medical facilities to reduce the high immortality rates. The Turkish government should provide easy and cheap contraceptive to reduce birth rates (Ganesh & Smith, 2018). The use of contraceptives will reduce the unplanned pregnancies in the country. The government should provide cheap contraceptives in public hospitals to minimize the mortality levels. Also, the health facilities should provide family planning education to the citizens (Ganesh & Smith, 2018). Turkey should educate the civilians on the effects of high population growth. Women should be the main target to get knowledge on the ways of avoiding unexpected pregnancies (Ganesh & Smith, 2018). Education is better than awareness contests or women empowerment programs. The fourth action on reducing high population growth is to eliminate poverty in Turkey. Low-income families bear many children because they perceive they are a source of wealth (Palfrey, 2017). Also, the families get more than four children due to the high medical consultation costs. Thus, the Turkish government should distribute wealth evenly to reduce poverty rates (Palfrey, 2017). The state can decrease the medical consultation fees to facilitate access to family planning education. The state can spread awareness on the negative effect of population growth on the natural resources (Ganesh & Smith, 2018). The government and NGOs can educate the public on the threats of the increased population which include poor education and medical facilities. Finally, states should introduce public health policies on the maximum number of people in a household (Ganesh & Smith, 2018). The strategy can reduce the birth rates in the world.
In conclusion, the continuous increase in population is a major concern in the world. The high population growth has influenced global activities negatively. People are using artificial means of cultivation such as greenhouses to meet the high demand for foods or fruits. As a result, the weather patterns are changing due to the global warming effects. The greenhouse produces gases such as carbon dioxide which is harmful to the atmosphere. The temperatures in the world are increasing due to the destruction of the ozone layer. Global warming reduces agricultural productivity and increases the sea levels of water bodies. Consequently, poverty and immigration rates have increased. Global warming also affects the health of individuals across the globe. The world population should be reduced by eliminating poverty, providing family planning knowledge, and establishing development projects. It is essential to reduce the population to sustain the natural resources for use in future generations.
