People have different perception when it comes to social movements, but the majority considers it has organized efforts that help bring changes to the people's beliefs, values, thoughts, and even relationships. The movement can also bring about changes in the institution, society, as well as causing resistance to some of the changes in the community or institution. Social movements, in most cases, have well organized collective action having specific objectives and a way of achieving them through joint mobilization. With the movements, people are likely to raise their issues well unlike when they do it in silence because campaigns attract more attention from different people and leaders that may play a significant role in addressing the issue that forces people to participate in the movement (Kendall, 2015) . There are different types of social movements that people join in as they pass their dissatisfaction about something or when resisting some form of changes in the society or institution, however, this paper will focus on three types that are Reform Movement, Revolutionary Movement, and Resistance Movement.
ReformJudaism is a group of particular reform movement because the group has objectives of changing the way people live and interact with others per the Jewish religion. The group aims to transform the way people live and even what they eat because the religion has specific things that the followers have observe and the movement, therefore, play a significant role in ensuring that people adhere to the doctrines of the faith. The primary concern of the campaign is to ensure that people observe the Jewish way of living starting from the Jewish calendar, the Jewish way of life among other practices that Jewish religion keeps including social justices (Judaism, 2019).

Due to the changing world, the majority of the religions are experiencing a lot of pressure from the world, especially from the non-believers who are against all sorts of beliefs. The war between religious believers and non-believers can lead to erosion of the religious doctrines, which means if believers do not have something to remind them on what they should do as believers; they are likely to lose the characteristics or qualities of good believers to the change from the non-believers or even to the other religions. The group of ReformJudaism movement has decided to come up with this social movement to ensure that the people who believe in Jewish faith live precisely in accordance to the religion by providing that they solve the problem caused by non-believers or other religions by calling upon Jewish believers to stick to the Jewish way of living (Judaism, 2019).
Another type of social movement is Revolutionary Movement where Fashion Revolution is one of the examples of the progress that advocate for change when it comes to clothes production chain from the farmer to the person wearing it as well as environmental conservation in the cloth production process. The movement focuses on ensuring that cotton farmers and the workers in clothes production industries should have better pay because they are the once who channel all their time and resources in making different types of clothes to all the people worldwide but at the end of the day, they receive little pay (Fashion Revolution Movement, 2013). The people that the movement wants to address are the cloth producing industries owners who sometimes do not provide right working conditions to their workers in the factory and all human beings because they are all cloth consumers in one way or another.
According to the movement, many people are losing their lives when working in factories, and this should stop because the workers are human beings like any other workers, and they deserve their rights including better payment. The primary objective of the movement is to ensure that farmers and workers have better pay for their work towards ensuring that all the people in the world have different fashions of clothes that they need. The movement advocates that farmers who produce cotton to cloth making industries and the workers in the industry should receive better payment and industry owner to provide a pleasant working environment for the workers (Fashion Revolution Movement, 2013).
Nordic Resistance Movement is an example of resistance movement because it ensures that the government or other bodies does the right thing at the right time and in case they do things otherwise against the law or constitution the movement will resist or refuse to support the decision of the government. Nordic Resistance Movement focuses on ensuring that the government or NGOs perform their duties effectively for instance when the government is distributing foodstuff or providing security, they should do it without discrimination in terms of races or economic class of the needy person (Nordic Resistance Movement, 1997). There are some instances where poor people do not receive the same level of services like security in comparison to the well off people, and the movement has to ensure that there is equality for all the citizens.
The primary objective of the movement is to ensure that all the citizens have equal right and there are no racial or other forms of discrimination when it comes to service provision to the public (Nordic Resistance Movement, 1997). When there is discrimination in the way government provide services to the people, Nordic Resistance Movement in most cases will ensure that there is replacement of the weak government system with the reliable alternatives will ensure that all the people in the state receive equal treatment and all the human rights are in consideration.
Admittedly, social movement plays a significant role in ensuring bringing change to society. ReformJudaism Movement ensures that all the Jewish believers retain their way of living despite the changes taking place in the current world. Fashion Revolution Movement also fights for the rights of better payment to the cotton farmers as well as the workers who work in cloth making industries. Nordic Resistance Movement, on the other hand, fights for equality in humanity and discourages racial and other forms of discrimination while delivering services to the public by the state.
