Social challenges occur when a society is unable to fill the gap between wants and the actual conditions. Racial discrimination is discrimination against people because of their ethnicity. Homelessness is lack of shelter and unemployment is a condition whereby individuals lack source of income. Racial discrimination, homelessness, and unemployment are the most prevalent social problems in society.

The nature of society and human beings help define what a social problem becomes. These social problems are worth looking into because they are a manifestation of unfairness. Also, they are the most biting social problems because they are objective conditions. Lastly, it is easier to solve the above using common solutions. Social problems present an opportunity for rightful solutions to be implemented to make the society whole again. Firstly, multicultural collaboration would help in solving the social problems in question because it will allow different communities to come together and solve the problems facing their society. Multicultural collaboration will enable society to share their resources in order to overcome their social problems (Brownlee, n.d.).Secondly, collaborating with community-based organizations would help in solving the above problems. The community-based organizations will be able to reach large numbers, and their collaboration will help in eradicating the social problems within their communities (Hyde & Clarke, 2014).Multicultural collaboration and collaboration among community-based organizations are the best solutions to overcoming racial discrimination, homelessness, and unemployment.

From the above discussion, racial discrimination, homelessness, and unemployment are the most prevalent social challenges in the new millenium. The above problems are objective conditions and go against fairness to humanity. Multicultural collaboration and collaboration among community-based organizations are the most appropriate strategies for solving the above social problems.
