It has helped me to be of great importance in society since it has enabled me to take part in most of the community's activities enabling me to volunteer in many activities. On deciding to become a student, I have been able to acquire many desirable traits enabling me to relate to other members of the society and to coexist with others peacefully. I have been able to relate more matters I learn in college with day to day life. This education has helped me to become a better and more reliable member of the society who can be depended on by other people of the society and those whom we study together at large.
On functionalist perspective, it has given an interpretation in that by getting a college education; I will hold an important position in the society which altogether, with other people playing their roles, everything will work harmoniously. Conflict perspective on the other had will interpret my decision since I will be yearning and working towards becoming a better person in the competitive society and lastly, Interactionist perspective will have an influence in that by choosing to pursue a degree I will learn and be able to live and coexist peacefully with others.
