Introduction
South African apartheid was the most prolonged human disaster since it made individuals from different racial groups to live and operate separately. The government used various legislation, education policies, religion, and other frameworks to support apartheid and oppress non-white individuals in South Africa. The separate development agenda faced resistance and opposition, resulting in violence and trade embargoes. The peak of these protests forced the then president to negotiate with the black leaders ending apartheid. Although proponents of apartheid argue that it was meant to improve the country’s status, apartheid negatively affected the country through segregation and unfairness in all spheres.
