Question 1

Christians believe that God exists in three forms; the father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They believe that He is supernatural and can take existence in numerous ways. He is entirely supernatural and is regarded as Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient, translating to all-powerful, being present everywhere and all-knowing. Christians staunchly believe that God is the sustainer and creator of everything on earth. A vast majority of christens believe that God is the owner of everything on earth and gives to the human being as he wishes and in the manner they deserve. In nursing, in particular, the love of God is reflected in the whole individual. Thus, nurses and other professionals in medicine must not treat patients like objects. Instead, they ought to treat them with the utmost respect because the patients were created in the willingness and image of God.

On the other hand, postmodernism suggests that there is not the existence of truth. It relies on the ideology that facts are invented and not discovered in their entirety. Relativism implies that only individual purposes exist. For instance, one argument that usually comes to the fore regards what is morally wrong or right. An opinion that killing someone is inhuman is more of a personal and subjective idea and should be considered as wrong or right (Burnett, 2020) . Postmodern relativism suggest s that human beings should not live in a manner that is special as compared to other non-living and living organisms. Indeed, no one can find working in the nursing fraternity and easy task since there is minimal truth. One means being that a misdeed such as murder may, at times, not be considered as wrong.

Question 2

Scientism is the belief that everything on earth can only be explained through a scientific point of view (Burnett, 2020). Therefore, a person with scientific opinions worship, believes, and carries out its rituals without fail. Staunch believers in religion mostly seek ideas and knowledge via traditions that have been passed down over the decades. Scientism, on the other hand, pertains to identifying the variables and observables. Scientism is built on the foundation that opinion that ideas can only originate from science. It is the exact opposite of what Christians believe in.

Scientism believes that death is the end of life and that no life exists past death. Furthermore, people harboring scientific beliefs opine that there is nothing like a near-death experience. Scientism believes that all the knowledge that people possess are as a result of scientific experiments and human reason (Burnett, 2020). On the other hand, the main arguments that are given against scientism are predicated on the belief that there is life after death.

Moreover, everything on earth is controlled by an all-powerful supernatural being. Believers in religion argue that God is omnipotent and that He cannot be tested using any scientific experiments or reasoning. Science leans more towards the argument that only what can be seen and felt is real and can be relied on. It completely dissuades any belief in supernatural powers, faiths, and religious beliefs. One aspect of Christianity that receives support from both Christians and scientists is reincarnation. Although reincarnation has not been proven through scientific experiments, it has received varying amounts of support from both sides of the divide. It shows that not every religious belief should be established through science, and some can be accepted by having a little faith. Moreover, religion should never be a hindrance to a person's thinking. An individual must be flexible in his/her thinking and learn to appreciate everything that exists in the environment, whether natural or artificial.

Question 3

Ultimate Reality

Different people have different beliefs concerning ultimate reality. I believe that ultimate reality strongly borders on understanding in a Supernatural being that controls all life on earth. God is the one who controls every living and non-living being and gives them freedom in accordance what their needs.

Nevertheless, God wishes that all His creating, especially humans, abide by His teachings and guidelines. Thus, human beings should never depart from the instructions in the Bible, especially the 10commandments. For instance, God asked human beings to choose life so that they may live in the book of Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (Burnett, 2020). The verse reminds people that the heavens and earth are like witnesses who view the lives of human beings and the choices they make, decisions that determine their lifespan on earth. From my perspective, I believe that a supernatural being exists whose powers and working is beyond human comprehension. As such, we should all appreciate put existence on earth and abide by the rules he gave to His servant Moses.

The Nature of the Universe

I firmly believe that the nature of the universe can be likened to the ultimate reality. During creation, God created everything on earth for six days and decided to rest on the seventh day. God created human beings with greater understanding than all the other creatures. Consequently, God made them His disciples and took them with the dusty of passing on His message to everyone in the world. In my understanding of the nature of the universe, the world is a place that is laden with diverse activities such as divine intervention, miracles, and a host of other angelic activities. In retrospect, the open nature of the world has led to the cropping up of beliefs that would otherwise not existed if there wasn't much interaction among living creatures globally. God made the world to accommodate all beings irrespective of their capabilities. For instance, water, gases, and other living organisms can coexist peacefully and rely on each other without destabilizing life on earth. Oxygen is dissolved in water upon which other creatures use it since every other organism needs it.

What is Human Being

Human beings are the most advanced, learned, evolved, and creative of all creatures to be put on earth by God. They are a product of time and chance, just like other components of the ecosystem. Humans were equipped with far more advanced features than other creatures, giving them a unique ability to speak different languages, do creative activities, imagine and even have personal reflections. The human brain is capable of performing complex functions frequently due to the changes that it has undergone over the years (Moreland, 2018) . At the beginning of creation, God was aware of the fact that other creatures on earth would need to be taken care of. For that reason, He equipped humans with the unique ability to think as well as higher IQ that would enable them to oversee other organisms. However, Humans disappointed God in immense proportions when they ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, hence their dismissal by God.

What is Your Knowledge

Knowledge exists in various forms. Human beings can absorb knowledge derived from multiple sources and disseminate it tit others in any part of the globe. I believe that education entails consuming information from a source that is reliable and keeping it in mind for later use. Nevertheless, the absorbed information and ideas need to be legitimate, credible, and trustworthy. Humans should only question what will expand their knowledge and make them better persons.

Moreover, the knowledge gained from diverse sources should be used to improve the lives of others and make the world a better place. I believe that learning should be retrieved from a secure source and fed into the brain to be used at a later stage for good reasons. Therefore, it is no doubt that information that people gather from birth, early childhood, and as they transition into various life stages that they use as they go about their daily activities. However, the level of expertise varies a lot, depending on a person's educational level, economic status, age, and exposure.

What is Your Basis for Ethics

Ethics are the moral values and virtues that people learn from an early age, both at home and at school. They is responsible for guiding one later in life while limiting one's thoughts and decisions on an almost daily basis. Ethics is the real cornerstone of the world. They provide the foundation on which the world is built and that which guides people daily. Various stakeholders use ethics in noting those driving under the influence, corrupt pubic officials, and those who cheat in tests. Ethics instill humanity in human beings (Moreland, 2018). The absence of ethics would result in chaos and a break on of the socioeconomic and political fabric. Not only are their guidelines, but what the larger society expects from everyone.

Purpose of Existence

God created every person with a specific purpose. He ensured that everyone would have a particular duty that he/she will perform on earth. Thus, God created people and gave them different talents and abilities. Everyone serves to ensure that the universe runs as God intended and that no breakdown occurs. A great philosopher once said that the worst tragedy in life is not death, but to live a life without a purpose.
