Spirituality is a belief from above that controls people, according to my worldview. From a particular perspective, spirituality is something that exists nowhere closer to earth, and it lives beyond death and life. Spirituality must comprise of one holding faith in someone or something more superior but not a human being ( Reig-Ferrer, de la Cuesta-Benjumea, Fernández-Pascual & Santos-Ruiz, 2019) . The belief should help a nurse conduct care morally and ethically. The beliefs can enhance care, enable one to have the drive to heal and comfort patients. However, other scholars believe that spirituality is something that is owned by churches, or it is attached to religious values, or it is the state of individuals. Spirituality has several benefits as far as taking care of patients is concerned. The benefits have significant to mortality cases, recovery, and how the patient is coping. According to Reig-Ferrer (2019), those who believe in spirituality have lower chances of dying. They tend to live longer and can quickly deal with any illness.
People with spiritual beliefs or touch are lively and always look up to a better quality of life. According to my worldview on spirituality help in quick recovery from contagious illness, surgery, and also improve on some other disease. Reig-Ferrer et al. (2019) state that some spiritual practices have been seen to enhance or improve health outcomes. Some studies imply that it has always lowered the levels of stress. Through such results, people have highly strengthened their spiritual well-being. In my view, nurses should play a role in supporting and respecting every patient’s spiritual dimensions. They should be involved in the healing process and comfort them during the dying moments. For instance, U.SA .have people with different spiritual beliefs and practices ( Reig-Ferrer et al., 2019) . As a nurse, one should respect assist during worship and religious practices. It does not matter whether they are Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, or Jews, and it should be part of the nursing profession.
