I like how Elizabeth spoke of how her dad had heart issues for about 15 years and one day he happened to have a heart attack which was controlled by doing a cardiac cath and placed a stent. They also did a CT scan where they found blood clots in his lungs, and they sent him to ER where they initiated a stroke protocol where they did lab analysis like clot busters, neuro checks, and EKG monitoring. Afterward, the patient may need physical therapy or rehab depending on the physical effects of stroke.

I like how Rachel supported that there is no treatment once a stroke occurred; however, she went ahead to state that surgical treatment and advanced medical help reduce the risks of another stroke. Emergency treatment like clot-busting medicines, neuroprotective medicines, craniotomy brain surgery, and therapies to reduce and control brain swelling. She also talked about rehabilitation that is needed to recover after a stroke.
