Question 1

After taking the talent quotient quiz, I managed to score a total of 133 points. Most of my answers were in substantial agreement with the questions asked. Since most of my answers were along the fourth column, I believe I scored most of the marks and would fit in within healthcare. From my score, I realized that my areas of strength were in line with most of the critical requirements in the healthcare industry. Some of the elements include my ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. This element is essential in healthcare from the sense that I will be operating in a field that I am likely to meet people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Among the other critical components is my ability to participate in team works effectively. The field of healthcare requires collaboration in many areas of service delivery. As such, it requires a person who can contribute efforts to ensure success in service delivery. Besides, my concern and help for the elderly, poor, and sick people is the other important trait that is essential in the healthcare sector. From my results, I think my ability to attend to such groups of people will be necessary in the provision of services in healthcare. These are among the core components needed in a healthcare environment, and I tend to agree with most of these requirements.

However, I noticed a few weaknesses from my results, including the retention of information and my little interest in numbers and math. These areas will require a change of approach through improved efforts by doing lots of practice. Therefore, after an analysis of my results, I found that they had a strong correlation with the requirements of the healthcare sector. However, I will need to work on my weaker areas for me to provide optimal services in an attempt to contribute to a better performance of the healthcare sector.

Question 2

There are crucial requirements for a healthcare administrator from the concept of abilities, knowledge, and skills, among other conditions. Based on research, one of the essential components is that of quick and critical thinking. This ability is necessary as a health administrator may be required to develop quick solutions to problems and take accountability for their actions (Figueroa, Harrison, Chauhan, & Meyer, 2019) . In line with one of the talent quizzes, I possess a firm agreement on brainstorming ideas with friends. As such, quick thinking can be matched to one of my strongest elements.

The other vital requirement for a health administrator is about ethical judgment. On that, health administrators are required to make most of the decisions. With the presence of an individual with high standards, then the administrator can be relied upon to make morally right decisions (Bruning & Baghurst, 2013) . Upon checking with my quiz results, several factors can be related to having the ability to uphold high ethical standards. Some of them include my capabilities of helping people, concern for the elderly, poor and sick, reflection of how projects may be improved, and trying to do the right things for the right reasons. All these results show my ability to make decisions, review them, and develop better decisions that would improve the services as a health administrator.

Another unique element that an administrator should have is the knowledge and ability to plan. Planning is one of the most critical phases of any project. As the healthcare institution will have various goals, it would be necessary to have the presence of a health administrator who can effectively plan and alight organizational goals with the strategies. The planning phase will require concepts of time, as well as resources that will ensure these goals are attained (Guo, Farnsworth, & Hermanson, 2015) . From my results, I managed to show high adherence to time management, money management, view people as the primary resources, doing research, plan a project, and reflect on what could have been done better. These are all essential concepts for ensuring a successful organization as a health administrator.
