Bill has displayed his ability to be a responsible and hardworking member of the company; however, his results are ever lagging due to his little skillful experience. To up his game and provide results that are up to par with the expectations, Bill should seek to attend more skill-boosting programs and training to get acquainted with the company's standards. Programs and workshops will provide substantial knowledge and skills to become a more skillful employee.

Chris has his skills being questioned by other employees continuously, but he gets along with the team. He should focus on improving his skills by attending more training programs and seeking assistance from his fellow employees where possible. By seeking assistance from close associates, he will be advised on improving and better his professionalism.

Doug has just joined the company a year ago and is progressively improving. In response to this, Doug should utilize training to learn the XYZ company's crucial skills and competencies. He should also consider aligning with the organization's culture to effectively and easily get acquainted with vital skills.

Erica gets her skilled questioned by other employees regularly; this gives her enough room to establish the underlying incapacitation deterring her from progressing. Despite her skills not being questioned by any colleague, she needs to talk to other employees who can help her understand her major problems. This is an easier way to identify what debilitates her from performing at high levels.

Lisa has proven to the company her worth through being a top performer for XYZ company. To harness her leadership capability with the company, she can mentor other young employees like Doug, who is barely a year old at the XYZ company. She can do this by leading in workshop training and helping them get along with its structure and operations.

Question 3. My role.

Having been chosen by the boss due to my natural leadership capabilities, my role as the team leader will be both a facilitator and a coach. As a facilitator, I will use my communication skills and competencies to cooperate with employees who have low motivation to foster the four Cs, context, composition, competencies, and changing their motivation levels. On the other hand, as a coach, I will partner with better-skilled employees and create a process that inspires them to maximize their professional and personal potentials. This will be for the XYZ company's betterment by impacting employees' innovativeness and skills to maximize their outputs.

Question 4. Examine which team competencies would benefit from shared leadership

Shared leadership will positively impact the XYZ company by promoting spectacular competencies. Shared leadership will promote team competencies like effective decision-making and sharing responsibilities (“ The Foundation of Team Success," 2020 ). Different parties will provide their ideas and opinions before a certain step or activity is undertaken. The shared leadership will ensure the best ideas and opinions are considered while making critical decisions for the XYZ company.
