Since the significant effect of terrorism is linked to physical destruction, the loss of productive resources that are essential in the creation of high-end products is bound to be witnessed. In case a state happens to experience such an occurrence, people are likely to be uncertain about whether to continue investing in such countries or not. A good example is the tourism sector.
Steps to Prevent Terrorism from Recurring in the Future
Since terrorism has proved to be a severe threat, all the attention and effort should be directed towards finding alternatives that will help in preventing such occurrence from being witnessed in the future. One primary undertaking to contain terrorism is ensuring national security. Ensuring proper security at a country's borders by conducting strict patrols and controlling those people who enter and exit the state is a strategic move that can be used to curb terrorism. Another step that can help in stopping such occurrences is by minimizing the way dangerous weapons are accessed. Ideally, when the general public is denied access to destructive weapons, then the level of terrorism occurrence is likely to reduce.
