Topic 2: Cleaning
There are several types of pressure vessels. Unfired Pressure Vessel (UPV) is a pressure vessel which has closed receptacle. The vessel has to be under pressure, which is greater than atmospheric pressure. The gases that are combined in the vessel should include steam external to the steam boiler. The gas under pressure can be either in liquid or gas form or both. The vessel subjected internally to a pressure which is less than atmospheric pressure is a UVA vessel (Besharati, 2018) . Examples of Unfired Pressure Vessel include autoclave, sterilizers, the air receivers, and petrochemical treatment. Other examples are water treatment vessels and LPG storage tank.
Before initiating the inspection of pressure vessels, the inspector should familiarize himself with the complete previous history of the vessel, design parameters, service, original thickness, corrosion allowance, corrosion rate and vulnerable locations of corrosion. Also, it is important to ensure that the UPV system is shut down and that the inspector has protective equipment on as a form of protection from hot steam.

Topic 3: Guards
I would first investigate the issue and understand the reasons behind removing the safeguards. Then, I would emphasize the use of safeguards are essential in protecting worker on duty against avoidable injuries. It is vital for employees to know the safety of any machine they are handling should also be guarded safely. In case of an accident during the operation of the machine, the operator and people around can be injured. Therefore, the company should come up with the safety measures to control the hazards or eliminate them (Verbeek, 2018) . I would also conduct regular training and safety meetings to raise the employees' awareness of the area around machinery that are at a higher risk of causing injuries such as crushed hands.
