Discussion 3:3

Access to healthcare remains to be one of the challenges facing the American healthcare system, especially in rural settings. Growing communities lack access to neurological care, as the discussion points out. One of the strategies that can be adapted to address such challenges include the use of mobile clinics by established healthcare centers. Hospitals in urban settings can team up with the local government to deliver mobile clinic services in the community periodically (Douthit, Kiv, Dwolatzky & Biswas, 2015) . Some of the services to be offered by mobile clinics include the screening of diseases and referrals to the main facility. The mobile clinics will go a long way in not only cutting down expenses incurred by the residents of a rural setting, but it will also ensure that medical interventions are given at an earlier stage. Early detection ensures that chronic diseases are treated while still at the initial stages.

Discussion 3:4

At this age, when lifestyle diseases are on the rise, it is critical to adopt measures to ensure that the current generation adopts a healthy lifestyle. It is essential that from a young age, children are taught on the measures they can take to prevent lifestyle diseases, apart from healthy eating, another critical intervention measure is physical activity. Doing exercises not only keeps one fit physically, but it also boosts the circulation of blood flow in the body to ensure the normal functioning of the various organs (Ramstetter & Murray, 2017) . Learning institutions thus need to adopt measures such as recess to ensure that children are kept in shape, both physically and mentally. The advantage of the recess is that it provides a platform to nurture talents on the other hand. For instance, learners who are gifted in athletics learn to discover their talents at this young age and have them nurtured through the recess programs offered in school.
