The story of Hong Gildong is from a Korean novel written during the dynasty of Joseon. The story is all about an illegitimate son of a nobleman and a lowborn concubine. He is the principal character of the story. He has extreme intelligence and mystical abilities. The first episode of the story is set in the Minister’s house in the city of Jangan. In this episode, we see the birth of the main character of the story, Gildong Hong. This was after a month of a sexual relationship between the minister and a lowborn servant girl, Chunseom.
