Leadership
Leadership is the art of motivating an individual or group of people to act and ensure the achievement of a common set objective. The experiences that I have and responsible for modeling the competency of leadership include the ability to delegate effectively and facilitate good teamwork that ensures the achievement of the set goals and objectives. I am an effective communicator, and this enables me to pass and receive useful information from other stakeholders, thus improving the workplace environment and culture. Respect, courage and empathy are some of the essential things that make me a good leader. The ability to influence and learn things easily also sharpens my skills in delivering excellent leadership skills.
So What? (Opinion)
The experiences to some point meet most of the expectations of good leadership; however, there is a need to include some of the things to enable me to move my leadership capability to the next level. From my experiences, I learned that participating in volunteering activities play a significant role in improving leadership skills because it enables one to interact with other people in the process, sharing basic leadership ideas and skills. I also note that patience and hard work are crucial for good leadership, and every leader should exercise it for better results.

Basing it on my experiences as a leader, I have realized that there are some of the things that I should do to improve my leadership skills. Participating in volunteering activities is one of the actions that I will incorporate into my programs to enable me to interact with many people in the process, earning me more leadership skills and ideas. Exercising patience is essential for a good leader. Therefore, I will ensure that patients will be part of my leadership technique, and it will improve my general skills and knowledge of leading other people more effectively and efficiently.
