The functions of an RN (Registered nurse) are essential. A registered nurse is a licensed professional who holds responsibility, whether directly or indirectly, in a nursing station. A Registered Nurse is authorized to give the best possible care for a person or people. Such supervision may include ensuring the continuity of health, teaching, and providing health advice. An RN should also record the health information of the people they serve ("LPN vs RN + Roles & Responsibilities - 2019 NurseJournal.org", 2019) .
Furthermore, they should interpret health data so they can give the appropriate medical or therapeutic value. Additionally, they have a legal right to change nursing procedures to suit their patients when necessary. Some of their roles may be extended to the provision of comfort for patients that may die while in care.
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
An LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) bears responsibility for the provision of health for all consumers. An LPN may delegate responsibility to another person of the same qualifications as them. Their roles align to a small extent to that of the registered nurse. They also record health data of a patient and thus assess their health status. They are required to make specific judgments in regards to the nursing situation to see whether it is suitable for the patient. Their professional roles involve their incorporation of the needed medical procedure into the patient’s regimen. An LPN should form a collaboration with other health providers to provide the best care for their patients ("LPN vs RN + Roles & Responsibilities - 2019 NurseJournal.org", 2019) .
What is surprising is that the LCN has duties that are performed under the supervision of an RN. It looks like an LCN is trained to complement the roles of an RN. The tasks given to an LCN are more specific than concerning those of an RN. An LCN focuses on more fundamental responsibilities of the patient while that of an RN are more complex roles that include taking care of the patient's family.
