Topic of Interest
The topic of interest for me relates to Education in Sports Administration, which reflects more on the area of Sports Management arising from the fact that one day I hope to become a general manager for a professional sports team. I intend to learn about the different kind of behavior that I would expect as a sports manager on and off the field. There is so much information that I want to know about being Sports Management that the best way is to research the topic.

Specifically, the study expounds on OCBs from the context of professional sports in a bid to determining individual behaviors that would be of value towards defining professionalism in athletes. Love & Kim (2019) believe that the study seeks to create a pioneered illustration touching on the unique nature associated with OCB in professional sports.

In the article “ Sport for Development's Impact on Cultural Adaptability: A Process and Outcome-Based Analysis ,” LeCrom & Martin (2019) seek to examine the underlying impacts that can be associated with sport for development. The article reflects on sport for development as a subdiscipline occurring within sports management taking into account that it allows for holistic development of professional athletes. LeCrom & Martin (2019) apply the Intergroup Contact Theory to a specific SFD program with the focus being towards examining how the program would impact culture adaptability. The article seeks to create a clear understanding on what to expect with regard to the values brought out through different SFD programs with the focus being towards promoting professionalism in sports.
