The Healthy People 2020 highlights some of the benefits of physical activities to individuals. Besides, regular physical activity comprises of engagement in moderate and vigorous intensity physical activities as well as muscle strengthening activities. According to Fuzeki & Banzer (2018), physical inactivity exposes individuals to numerous health risks such as chronic diseases, as well as premature mortality. Therefore, as an individual, I recognize the benefits of participating in physical activities, as well as the risks for not doing so.
Presently, I try to stroll and meditate daily. Every morning and evening, I stroll around running tracks before retracting to an exclusive place to meditate. Meditation usually starts with trying to control my breathing movements, and making my body to relax. I always manage to achieve a calming effect on my body and mind. Although I can categorically state that I am making positive steps, I also think I am not doing enough. Strolling alone is not giving me the fitness I desire. The biggest barrier towards achieving enough physical activity is time. Firstly, I am always worrying about my studies. I always feel as if I have to dedicate every minute to my studies. Secondly, I sometimes spend too much time with friends; hence leaving myself with little time to engage in physical activities.

One thing I would like to accomplish is to participate in a sport, especially lawn tennis. It is a sport that is too engaging apart from requiring an individual to be physically fit. Subsequently, I have to manage my time well to participate in it. The one thing I am going to do is to engage in positive thinking and take every aspect of life as being important. Therefore, I do not have to worry about my studies whenever I participate in a physical activity. To plan my time well, I will create a schedule, which I will do everything possible to adhere to.
