My passion for astronomy extends to when I was young. I had different questions such as "Where did we come from?" and "We are all made of stardust," that increased my interest in learning about the universe and its origin. The school does not offer astronomy classes. I did not give up on my passion and started carrying out online courses by myself and was able to complete three courses. However, I feel that I am still far from getting enough information, and since astronomy is my passion, I feel the need to pursue a complete course.
The University of Michigan will help me pursue my passion and answer some of the questions I had since when I was a child and satisfy my curiosity. The university has a department of Astronomy with the resources I require to pursue my passion. The department established a research observatory in the Midwest for over 150 years. I believe that enough data has been collected since then that can help me learn more about the universe. The department is young and vibrant, with highly-equipped personnel who will assist in my projects about astronomy.

Getting a chance at the University of Michigan will be a dream come true for me. I will benefit from the diverse environment created in the school. It will be a chance to learn as well as take part in the research programs undergoing in the astrology department. In that way, I will be prepared to get into the real-world and help in addressing issues associated with the environment and climate. I am a self-driven person, ready to embrace the chance when provided and create change in my life and the world. I believe that the University of Michigan is not just the perfect place for me but only the place I need to expand my astrology intellect.
