Medical services are among the most crucial aspects in the contemporary world. Having an emergency plan is equally important as it may look when it comes to saving lives. In a health facility environment, there are supposed to be guidelines that aim at helping all stakeholders in matters related to saving lives. All these aspects are supposed to be put into consideration as far as emergency issues are concerned. This paper aims at creating a list of necessities related to legal requirements that pertain emergency action plans. The essay will do so by addressing some the most crucial aspects relating to laws and regulations designed to support Emergency Medical services. 

The first essential requirement pertaining to emergency patient services is the Ambulance. Transporting patients to respective treatment destinations is one of the most important things in the field of medicine. According to Kirkwood (2015), Ambulance services are crucial because they are normally equipped with unique gear that facilitates lifesaving missions. When employing new personnel in this area of specialization, it is worth noting the importance of educating them with ambulance services. Patients and newly recruited medical practitioners are supposed to know the basics of an ambulance. Providing movement, from an area of incidence or injury safely shows how much health practitioners are supposed are crucial in helping human lives.

Secondly, insurance services are also important when it comes to Emergency response. Insurance helps in paying for medical bills as well as securing future health concerns. As a legal requirement, insurance is also essential because it helps patients get financial security. Insurance can be offered it two major legal ways. First, employers can offer their workers’ insurance policies. Secondly, people who are self-employed can by also buy themselves insurance policies. While doing so, it is worth noting that the provision of insurance is a legal requirement and both employers and employees should treat it as a solemn authorized obligation ( Lurie, Manolio, Patterson, Collins and Frieden, 2013)

According to Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board, State legislation should be formulated to conform to the federal health standards. This means that state laws should be similar or workable across federal facilities. The emergency medical service regulatory board in conjunction with various federal and state legislative sectors have with time formulated statutes and rules that are relevant to EMS. However, some of these laws and regulations differ depending on the state. For instance, the 2018 Minnesota statutes have a variety of EMS provisions. The 144E.10 law provides for the licensing of Ambulance services. Its first subdivision highlights the requirements of operating an ambulance service within the state. Its second subdivision also highlights the requirements for obtaining new ambulance service licenses. Another excellent example of state law that supports the EMS service in Minnesota is the 144E.27. This law entails Education programs as well as the Board that approves them. From this state law, it can be noted from its subdivisions that EMS education programs should be provided by those with experience in the field. They should be registered paramedics, physicians or nurses. The law also highlights on how programs are approved, practitioners registered and the process of revoking their licenses ( Office of the Revisor of Statutes) . 

In conclusion, this essay has given a list of the most crucial aspects of emergency health response. The paper has put into consideration legal requirements and how they are supposed to be enacted.
