I will be traveling for a ten days trip to Thailand. Thailand is one of the countries that are found in Asia. It is located in the southeast part of Asia. The capital city of Thailand is Bangkok. The country’s population is roughly sixty-seven million. Their currency is ThaiBaht. The country has a monarchical system of government. The official language of Thailand is Thai. The country is widely known for its tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, numerous ancient ruins and ornate temples that display the figures of Buddha. Thailand is one of the few nations that survived from the issue of colonization because British and France decided that the government should be left as a neutral territory. That was because they were trying to avoid conflict between the colonies. The country had absolute monarchy up to 1932. After that, they were led under a military rule. Sixty years of military rule they established a democratically elected government. The climate of the place is always at a relative temperature of 82F and has a high humidity annually.

On day one in Thailand I traveled to the Erawan falls in the Western Thailand. Foremost I spent my night in a place called Kanchanaburi. The guest rooms were relatively cheap because they only charge me one hundred Thai. I took a short trip from Kanchanaburi to Erawan falls using a train. The Erwaanfalls is found in the ErwaanNational Park. There I learned a lot of issue about the erawan falls. The Falls was named after the three-headed elephant of Hindu mythology. They were known as erawan thus the name erawan falls. The ruinsresemblethat three-headed elephant of Hindu mythology.Afterward, I traveled to HuaHin beach where I spent my night. During the evening before I slept, I had a delightful entertainment of the Thai dance. I was told to seat in a traditional way then watched the way the Thailand people dance.

On day two, I traveled to Prasathinphimai. The places were just thirty miles from wherever I spent my night, so I boarded a taxi which drove me to that location. It was just a thirty minutes drive to that area. The place was very impressive. The Prasathinphimai boast is one of the famous Khmer ruins in Thailand. I learned various issues while at that location. That temple was built in the eleventhcentury and the twelfthcentury. At that particular time, the area was part and parcel of the Khmer empire. The temple was billed as a Mahayana Buddhist temple. However, the artichectare of the structure is unique in some way. That is because it contains various Hindu deities. While at that place I noticed that Western clothing is typical in the region. I traveled back to the hotel where I spent my lovely night.

On the following day, I traveled to KhaoYai national park. The place was relatively far from where I spent my night. I hired a car at five hundred ThaiBaht and drove myself to that location. It was a four-hour drive to that area. It is the third largest park in Thailand. At that location, I was interested in seeing the Asian elephants and the black bears. The black bears are always very rare to see them. The dinosaur footprints are also visible at that place.

On day four, I traveled to Mu Ko Ang Thong. I was taken by a train to that location. It took me an hour to goto that location as it was only forty-five kilometers from HuaHin beach hotel where I had slept the previous night. The place was very impressing. The siteis referred to as Ang Thong, and it means Bowl of Gold. The place is so attractive while looking at the forty-twoislands. I paid one hundredThaibaht so that I couldclimb and see that island in an aerial view.

The next day I traveled to northern Thailand. It was forty miles from HuaHui hotel. I paid two hundred Thaibaht to reach that place. The purpose of my journey to northern Thailand was to look at the Sukhothai Historical Park. The park contained the ruins of Sukhothai. Sukhothai was the capital of that kingdom in the fourteenth century. I saw the two hundred ruins that are found in that place. I also studied the history of that area. There was also some impressive ways. That day I spent my night in KoLipe. There was a hotel that charged me two hundred per night.

On day six, I was still in the north of Thailand, but I traveled to the eastern part of northern Thailand. I just to a ride with a horse. It was an hour ride to Phanom Rung. Phanom Rung is a Hindu temple. Though the temple is unique because of its outrageousartic hector. The temple was located in Nang Rong village. The temple was built in the thirteenth century by the Khmer culture. It was made up of sandstone and laterite. I realized that the purpose of coming up with the structure was to make it resemble the mountain of Kailash. That mountain was the sacred home of Shiva.

The day that followed I moved to Ayutthaya Historical Park. I traveled by taxi to that place. It was a three-hourdrive from the place that I spent my night. The taxi driver charged me three hundred ThaiBaht. At this location, I saw the ruins of the second capital of Siam. The capitalwas found in the mid thirteen century. The city was destroyed in the year 1767 by the Burmese army.

The next day I traveled to PangNgaBay. I moved with a taxi, and I was charged one hundred ThaiBaht. At that place, I saw some charmingcaves, limestone islands which are very rare to be found in the world. There were also aquatic grottoes that I saw at that place. The sea caves looked muchscared, but that was fun to look at them.

On day nine I went to KhaoSok national park. That day I wanted to have an experience with nature. So I took thirty minutes drive to that place with a taxi. I was charge fifty Thaibaht for the journey. At that place, I saw the natural beauty of Thailand. There were remnants of oldrainforest stretch across the whole park. The ark is then split with a dramatic limestone mountain range. I saw numerous animal species. Almost five percent of the animal species that exist in the world.

On the final day in Thailand, I just had a ride on the Thai-Burma railway. It has a name that when somebody hears he or she raises her eyebrows. It is also called as the death railway. That day I had a two-hour train journey on that famous death railway. I learned the history behind the naming of that railway. It was named during World War II. The Japanese were the ones who made the railto connect Burma with Bangkok.

While in Thailand I learned a lot of things about those people of Thailand. I realized that those people are tolerant of individualism. Those people are hard working and very productive. They have a humbling nature and like smiling. I learned that when a man is being introduced or greeting somebody, he says Sawatdeekrap . To the women they say Sawatdeee - kah . As a foreigner, I was not expected to copy their gesture of greeting one another. Their food is usually eaten with a fork and tablespoon. Drinking tap water is prohibited unless when it is boiled . Most of their diet is hot and spicy. Their dressing is characterized a lot with the western form of clotting.

While at that place one night I spent at a party where they showcased their traditional dances and music. They used different instruments such as wooden floor level xylophone, the Phin pia, and Khkui . Their music is played out of patients and has a steady metronomic rhythm. They sing most of their songs in Thai. However, the grassroots music of the Isan has copied the modern style of rock music.
