The similarity in people’s behaviors, physical traits has been used for many years in different parts of the world to categorize people into distinct groups. Researchers take different techniques in explaining the concept of to race. Some researchers feel that race is an idea that some people ascribe to and that all people are equal. According to these psychologists, race is not a measure of a person’s intelligence. On the other hand, some scientists believe that race goes beyond the physical differences to the different levels of intelligence, talents, and capabilities.

The primary emphasis on race as a biological issue can be viewed from the American sporting industry. The study of race has attracted different ideas and opinions from many researchers in the United States and the world. On the one hand, some psychology researchers support the idea that race is biological and people from the same race have some common physical and biological traits. On the other hand, some psychology researchers believe that race is not biological and races have the same capabilities. Some minority such as African Americans, seem to be more vulnerable to some diseases. While some researchers associate this phenomenon with biological racial differences, some believe that the differences and high mortality among minority groups are limited access to healthcare and income limitation.
