Different scholars have developed perceptions of how life came to being ( MUNROE & BEIRNE , 1954 ). The scientists believe that life came to be through natural selection, which is when natural chemicals are exposed to conditions favoring life formation ( Wiegel & Michael , 2014 ). The paper is aimed at shedding light on the theories on the origin of life by molecules coming together, and the contrasting Biblical point of view.
The evolution theory forms a belief that life began from a non-living substance, as a matter of chance through natural selection ( McCann & Stahl , 2015 ). Theories on the polymerization of amino acids have been developed proposing that the combination happened around the equator where there is heat ( MUNROE & BEIRNE , 1954 ). The naturalistic state that the earth must have had oxygen in it to enable springing out of life from it through the presence of photosynthetic organisms. The evolutionary theory states that living molecules came together in the ocean to form life.

Among the major beliefs are the Biblical theories of creation. It is believed that God, a supernatural being breathed life into all living organisms ( MUNROE & BEIRNE , 1954 ). The Biblical perception has so far received plenty of opposition and criticism from scientific scholars. The major hiccup in the scientific theories is that for the molecules to create a living structure they had to be joined.

Proteins are formulated from twenty amino acids each holding a unique side chain. The protein molecule formulates the structural and neural element of a cell ( Wiegel & Michael , 2014 ). The proteins also act as catalysts for the biochemical reaction occurring in living things. The scientific argument on creation by chance is not insufficient. It is unable to substantiate some important factors on how life came to being. It is not clear on how and why the polymerization of the amino acids took place and how it influenced formation of life. It is also not clear on how the molecules are arranged in an order for life to arise. No scientific efforts have shown how the facts of life formation happened without unanswered questions.
