Hello. Thank you for presenting diversified views on the Code of Ethics for Educators (MCEE). Technology has become one of the most significant drivers of change in different spaces today. This said, I believe you present a crucial issue when you say one of the greatest weaknesses of the Illinois Educator Code of Ethics is a failure to address ethical aspects of technology use in schools. I also think that another way to look at a challenge on MCEE as it applies to school attendance is the level of poverty in Illinois, however low, hence its impact on students' ability to attend school( McGee, 2004). This would have been an extension of principle number three, which covers educators' responsibility to students. Again, I am elated by the discussion of FERPA and its application on MCEE in using social media, sharing records, or ensuring access to technology by all students. This triggered my thinking about the effectiveness of laws in different educational spaces in averting the risks related to technology and social media in schools. Overall, I believe you present compelling points that are well articulated ( Cramer, Meg & Hayes, 2010).

Hello. One of the most impressive aspects of your discussion is how you start explaining the principles related to MCEE and the Professional Code of Ethics for Kentucky Certified School Personnel. I believe it is an approach to a discussion that comes in handy, especially when a given piece's target audience is not well informed. I concur with you that ethical codes related to information technology, technology use, and safe learning are indispensable ( Garland, 2009). I believe this is crucial because while the world is highly dependent on technology when ethics does not guide use, there are likely to be detrimental effects, especially in schools ( Olcott et al., 2015) . While I agree with you that stakeholders such as School Resource Officers (SRO) and School Security Officers could conduct themselves in an acceptable manner. I recommend explaining how that could occur would have made that particular aspect compelling. Regardless, believe you present strong arguments backed with facts
