Manifest Destiny was a term referring to the attitude that was mostly used during the 19th century. It was during this period when the American expansion in the United States not only could, but also can stretch from coast to coast. The attitude had a goal of helping the Western fuel settlement. This resulted to War with Mexico and the removal of the Native American. John L. O’Sullivan employed the phrase first in an article on the annexation of Texas which was published in July and August in 1845. The term originated in the 1840s. It is always expressed in the belief that it was the Anglo-Saxon American’s providential mission to expand their level of civilization as well as institutions in North America. It was a widely held faith in the United States. However, at the beginning, the belief was destined to expand across North America. No set principles had the mandate to define the manifest destiny. It was also viewed as a form of conviction in the morality and value of the expansionism which leads to complemented big ideas. Numerous, ideas, policies and actions are comprehended by the Manifest Destiny phrase. Three main crucial themes are usually touched by advocates of the manifest destiny. It illustrates the virtues of the American people and their institutions from the central theme. The idea and the mission are to spread those institutions, at the same time, redeeming and remaking the world into the image of United States. Finally, is the destiny under God to do this work? The American Society worked promptly to offer opportunities that would help create a new or better society altogether. In this regard, therefore, the paper intends to provide or establish the ideas related to Manifest Destiny. Some discussions including the American system and their system will be elaborated later.

The phrase of Manifest Destiny is often associated with the territorial expansion of the United States from 1812 to 1860. It was an era from the end of the war of 1812 to the beginning of the American Civil War. At this time the United States expanded up to the Pacific Ocean. The boundaries defined or explained the borders of the contiguous United States. The main cause of the war was the American desire to threaten British Canada and ensure that Indian raids are stopped in the Midwest and to expel the British from North America with an intention to gain additional land. The American failure to occupy any significant part of Canada leads to an introduction of the second reason for the case. The Mexican War was the first American military conflict in the land. The war ended up with the American winning the treaty. The war occurred between the Americans as well as the Mexicans. The study that involves the expansionist policies of the 19th century in the United States shows a clear understanding of the collaborations. The act of America’s rapid acquisition of the old Mexican southwest as well as the Oregon territory seemed to show the exact fulfillment of the president’s campaign promises. Mexico primarily becomes concerned with the first battle of the war was fought for the cause of Texas independence which happened in Alamo in San Antonio. In this war, Manifest Destiny played a great work in the high pull.

Manifest Destiny played a very crucial role in the process of expanding the relationship with Mexico. The idealized process of expansion was advocated from the American government systems. Newly democratic and independent states would request entry into the United States. It was the best solution instead of the government extending its services to people who were not interested in the ideas. The system involved also lead to Spanish-American war. The legacy is a more complex phenomenon. The act of believing in American mission depends on promoting and defending democracy in the world. The mission was encompassed by the Empire of Liberty. The idea was implemented in a practical manner the efforts of trying to rebuild America, Japan, and Germany immediately after the world war.

President Woodrow Wilson decided to move with the policies of intervention among the Americans. He claims that the world has to be made safe for those using it t fulfill their desires. For democracy, the world desired a Congress after the war to find a better solution during the next attack. In his speech, Wilson used the term Manifest Destiny. However, his dominant form of Manifest Destiny was a kind of rejection on endorsement and well as expansionism. It is, therefore that America is at the core center of ensuring democracy in the region. Therefore, American considered themselves as the main leaders of the free world. This attributes offers more reasons that explain the relevance of democracy. Working in this direction will offer participation to small areas of representations including the parents.

In some of the regions, Manifest Destiny are used by critics of the United States foreign policies. The main aim is to characterize interventions in the Middle East as well as other nations in the region. In this case, therefore, Manifest Destiny should be interpreted as a form of underlying causes of what is denounced to be an American imperialism. Furthermore, upon other nations seeing the effectiveness of the idea in America they decided to implement it in their regions as well. As a result, German geographer Friedrich Ratzel opted to visit North America at the beginning of 1873. However, he first sympathized with the results of Manifest Destiny. However, they did not use the term. Rather, he had to rely on the popular activities, and some people do not have the duties and responsibilities to represent their ideas in paperwork. As a result, he promoted the overseas colonies for Germany, Asia well as Africa Tom fit the standards of Manifest Destiny. However, he did not encourage the expansion into Slavic lands. Later on, some publicists interpreted him to argue for the rights of the Germans to ensure that it expands within Europe. Finally, the same notion used in Manifest Destiny was incorporated into the Nazi ideology. The main idea remains that Ratzel’s theory was designed to advance science and the politicians to distort the concept of political goals and objectives.

The Mexican war lasted from 1846 to 1848. The main cause of the war was that American had a superb desire towards the territory majorly Texas and California. The war mainly took place in Mexican land as compared to the American land. It was supported by the fact that disorganization and instability was the main conspicuous in the Mexican government. The war results in an American victory. The “Great American Desert” was the nickname that was granted for the Great Plains in this region. The area, which is presently Midwest, was characterized by the climate and flat topography as well as the lack of trees within the vicinity. Due to the features mentioned above, it was considered inhospitable, and the early settlers decided to cross it on the Willamette Valley of Oregon rather than settling in the region. Furthermore, the sense of duty created a sense of unity among the nations and stimulated westward expansions. The concept is a justification of westward expansion in all its forms and ramifications. The notions also were related to the Mexican War, which was the perception of the Indians.

In 1843, Tyler started a campaign to the annex Texas. In 1844, he succeeded in sending a treaty to the Congress o annexation. However, after the treaty was submitted, it was defeated at the Senate level. In early 1845, the Congress again passed a joint resolution to annex as the growing popularity of annexation. The American steamboat, the Caroline was mostly used by the Canadian rebels after it was attacked by the government of Canada in 1837 in the American waters. The event highlighted tensions in the region. It is implemented or used within the United States as well as Britain, but the tension was eased.

From the above-illustrated information, it is evident with the support of the above discussion that Manifest Destiny is a great agenda. Manifest Destiny was mostly used in the early days but still it is used today to indicate various characteristic factors. More of the ideas are more of politically related with confidence that the notion is not affecting an individual’s life. However, the uses of Manifest are destiny more in the context of America and Mexican. Many a time the idea and the results of America have even been a factor that illustrates the notions, It is much accepted and has a category given, Recently, most nations are using it as a factor to ensure better and well-illustrated field of study. Therefore, dealing with Manifest Destiny is not a waste. More and more ideas should, therefore, be part of us at all times. Positivity and proper development of the factors are great and good in working out my thoughts and issues.
