While taking a look at the world today, many people are found to behave in a unique way. This makes it hard for some to even agree on simple issues but have always been united by sports during such occasions like the Olympics when the rest of the world stops to brace the occasion. Different nations are as well represented and eager to make a mark on the world ranking in sports. As a result, make athletes usually come to compete after years of training but may not always win owing to the level of competition. In order to develop sports, many nations usually invest more in sports and also encourage extracurricular activities in schools while trying to discover young talent. The attempt is meant to develop such a talent from a young age.

The young generation is also seen as ambitious with a lot of potentials. This potential can be harnessed in sports. Even as they seek their own identity such lads are also inspired by iconic figures in the sporting world. While interacting with them, this enhances the development of the sporting culture in spite of the dynamic nature of sports with some even falling prey to the use of drugs. Sporting has, therefore, united the world as all races now watch in anticipation to see how those they cherish standout among the rest, little do they know the level of sacrifice made before one emerges the winner. Despite many nations competing on the world stage it is ironical to see how certain countries always emerge the best in certain fields.

While taking a look at the American experience some of the main competitors have been Ohio and Michigan and have kept competing since the early 19th century when America was still virgin. The rivalry started as a result of an ownership dispute over Toledo strip which was used to mark the borderline. As a result, we thus come to learn of how such an experience comes about and has also carried on to the football pitch. Such trends in still witnessed today as the two team continue to embrace their sports culture. Spectators are, therefore, never surprised to see this teams compete against each other in a fierce battle to secure a win whenever they compete. This has even made it hard for other competitors to easily beat such teams. Sports rivalry is not just limited to competing teams but as well the case among dominant players in certain sports. For newcomers, overcoming such competitors can’t come easily and has as well discouraged some from trying. On the other hand, while seeing how champions are celebrated, many are also inspired to pursue their dream in sports.

Perhaps it is important for us to understand how such individuals manage to overcome all odds while maintaining the top position in their fields. Apart from just being talented, a lot of effort is also applied prior to such competition. Sports rivalry thus doesn’t always work against the sporting fraternity rather can also play an integral role while leading to the development of such sports. This is demonstrated by the many outstanding titles which have been broken in record time over the past decades. It simply shows how much effort is put during training thus also worth being given the prize.

At the International level, apart from sharing a common boundary the two countries India and Pakistan are not only big in terms of mass but as well arch rivals on the cricket pitch. It is spectaculars to see how these countries have managed to up their game. In spite of their field encounters the two countries have also found themselves on the offensive side while laying claim of the other country to support terrorist activities. The sports, however, help such countries enhance their engagements while embracing a mutual understanding. This is so breathtaking and less likely to attract the same news as depicted in the media. Among the other commonalities between the two countries include things like sharing the same race owing to their Asian descent. A majority of the race is made up of Indians but largely made up of both the Muslim faith as well as the Hindu. This doesn’t imply that there aren’t any other religions present but rather made up of a significant number of believers from the two faith. The two countries are as well nuclear powers thus are believed to as well be militarily strong.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while still on this note, the same rivalry is still exemplified in football as demonstrated with Ohio and Michigan perhaps that’s why it has also emerged as the world’s favorite sport and now commands a huge following. The sport has also attracted die-hard fans who are likely to stop at nothing while supporting their teams. Some have even taken their lives when they sensed defeat and only demonstrates the mental repercussion on those found to be addicted to such sports. At times, this has also attracted violence whenever a team was defeated owing to funs deciding to take their anger on others but has also attracted heavy penalties while trying to curb such a vice.
