Structure | Description |
Parental DNA | -This is the DNA which is used to determine whether a person is biologically related to a parent. |
Leading strand | - This is the type of the DNA which is replicated continuously in the body. The DNA is made in to 5’ to 3’ directions by continuous polymerization at the 3’ growing tip. |
Lagging Strand | - This one of the two strand of DNA found at the replication fork, or the junction, in the double helix. These strands always require a slight delay before undergoing replication and it do this through discontinous small fragment. |
Short RNA segment | - This is a segment that begins in the DNA replication, leading strand and also Okazaki segment on the lagging strand. This segment enables polymerase to attach DNA nucleotides to the primer |
DNA Polymerase | - This is a DNA part that carries the central role in the process of life.it also replicates human genetic information |
DNA Ligase | - This is a type of enzyme that facilitates the joining of the DNA strands together in order to catalyze the information of a phosphodiester bond |
How The Different DNA Nucleotides Pair During DNA Replication
DNA initiation step takes different steps in human body. The initiation of the DNA takes place in two major steps. The initiator step which is responsible of releasing a short stretch of the DNA double helix. After this is done, a protein known as helicase attaches to and breaks apart hydrogen bonds. These hydrogen bonds the DNA strands between their basses. This then pulls up the remaining strands and links with the other DNA components.
