Part 1

Anthropocene is a challenge to human, plant, and animal life. Currently, human beings are responsible for climate and environmental changes. Scranton (2015), claims that people influence the environment and atmosphere of the world negatively. Instead, people should impact the environment positively by taking care of the natural resources to support the existence of living organisms. Therefore, anthropocence is a moral issue that affects modern society. Anthropocence stacks up against Kwame Appiah text. Appiah claims that human beings have neglected the natural resources and ecology. The author states that individuals are polluting the environment, overfishing, emitting harmful gases to the ozone layer, and cutting trees (Appiah, 2010). The depletion of natural resources and pollution has increased variations in climatic conditions.

Part 2

Yes, we owe future generations when it comes to pollution and the reduction of natural resources. Appiah (2010) claims that future generations might not recover from the climatic and environmental damages in case people continue to pollute or reduce the physical resources. The other issues such as neglecting the prison environment and isolating the aged or children in the community can be mitigated. The activities have increased immoral values such as self-interest (Appiah, 2010). However, the issues can become a challenge if the government or support agencies do not incorporate mitigation policies.

Part 3

Every individual has an obligation to future generations regardless of having children or not. The environment consists of resources that are utilized by every person across the globe. No one is exempted from conserving the resources to reduce climatic and environmental damages. Thus, each person has the responsibility to preserve the environment for future generations.
