Technology is the application of scientific knowledge and skills to develop processing actions and create devices to change and manipulate the environment. It has revolutionized the world in the sense that businesses are now using technology to stay relevant and competitive in the market. The development of heavy engineering structures has become easier through the use of technological products.

Over the years, global threats, including terrorism, climate change, and lack of health care, have been experienced frequently in most parts of the world. Elimination of the current technological boundaries would be an eminent solution to these problems. The digitization of healthcare facilities like hospitals and clinics would help establish effective and efficient Electrical Medical Records rather than the old-fashioned paper-based record-keeping (Øvretveit et al., 2007). Through the advancement of technology, health researchers would enhance their medical knowledge and provide solutions for incurable diseases.

Poverty is one of the major global threats that the world faces. It has paralyzed development in many countries around the globe. Technology has the power to eliminate the impoverished state of most of the people. Families living in rural areas can evaluate their financial position and control their situation with the mere use of a smartphone. The government should create awareness about online courses where the youth can access customizable education at low prices. It would allow them to acquire the soft and technical skills required for employment.

Every country has a responsibility to support the development of new technology. Developed countries that have already implemented technological services should create awareness in other countries and ensure they understand the benefits associated with the use of these services.

Despite the positive impact’s technology has on the world, it has been misused on many occasions. Through technology, countries at war have discovered more efficient ways to defeat their rivals. The result is a rise in the number of lives lost and destruction of property. In adverse cases where deadly weapons such as atomic bombs are used, health problems are experienced throughout the generations.
