Brooklyn is a borough in New York City, distinguished as the fifth largest industrial city and the most populated county in the state of New York. It is also the second-most densely populated county in the US. The demographics in the region assert that the borough is mainly comprised of residents that were born outside the United States and later came into the US in search of better opportunities; therefore, Brooklyn is comprised of different ethnic communities.
