I like taking on new challenges that provide opportunities for growth and open me up to new problem-solving perspectives and skills. The opportunity to take a master’s program would line to ensure learning of new skills as well as learning how I can implement my ideas and prepare for the next industrial revolution, to set it off or to actively participate in it. While yearning for an opportunity to develop and practice my skill set to match field requirements, a new environment would also open me up to new cultures and mindsets. Throughout my academic life, situations that require creativity have arisen and my learning experience has provided a platform to increase my interpersonal and collaboration skills. Taking part in the Emirates Skills Competition, where I received the gold award, inspired me to take challenges related to new mechatronic trades and intensified my passion for applied mechanics. In our graduation project, I took the role of the project leader. Additionally, I was assigned the role of an on-campus-training group leader. These opportunities have not only helped me improve and practice my interpersonal and collaboration abilities, but they have also trained my management and creative thinking skills. A period of on-job training with Siemens also helped me increase my problem-solving skills alongside training me on mechatronics FESTO stations.
While offering myself as a candidate in your Engineering department, I bring along years of experience since apart from graduating with a degree in Applied Mechanics, I also have work experience as an intern at ACTVET (Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and a worker with a leading gas and oil company as a Rotating Equipment Engineer.
