The healthcare sector is a rapidly evolving sector with many as the quality levels improve, thereby improving the lifespans through advanced treatments and the use of the right medicines. In accomplishing these milestones, the common factor is the human factor. The healthcare sector has various specialization fields that require different qualities of the healthcare employee. A surgical technician has to possess improved dexterity ability as well as the ability to give a quick response and stand for long hours. Dental assistants are supposed to have decent relational skills. Besides, the assistants have to have improved manual dexterity ability and ability to take and follow instructions. Technicians in healthcare are required to be patient with steady hands as they work with the machines. Also, the ability to distinguish between various colors is vital as it helps in identifying the multiple components used in various types of medical equipment. Excellent communication skills are a requirement for health employees, including massage therapists. It is essential to have the patients feeling comfortable for the intrusive nature of massage. Ability to exercise patience, follow instructions, and being dependable and caring, is a crucial trait for nurses, especially those working as homecare givers. Physical therapy may involve helping patients with the equipment as well as picking them, and physical strength is critical in discharging the duties for the employees in physical therapy occupations. 

Decision making is critical in all areas of healthcare as it determines the quality of care given and may make the difference between life or worse. The application of technology from NASA by laboratory technicians has resulted in improvement in diagnostics through improved imagery. There are instances where medical doctors contribute to reduced hospital visits, lowered medical bills, and improved healthcare to low-income areas through the application of hospital data and developing software with the ability to pick hotspots and responding to the critical needs of the regions. The approach can be revolutionary to the healthcare sector in the United States as it would reduce medical bills and ensure quality healthcare is accessible to all, especially in poor neighborhoods. The ability to take health parameters at an instance anywhere is key in tracking the early onset of lifestyle diseases and enable rapid access to healthcare, thus improve the quality of life.
