Despite the fact that the United States of America spending much money on healthcare than any other country, U.S still remains to have the poorest health systems. Many Americans are not insured and costs keep on rising becoming a threat to the U.S citizens as many of the U.S citizens especially the poor have no money to access the services. Many of those medically insured have employer sponsor to their medical plans leaving the unemployed uninsured.

Health care systems help in maintaining the health of the community, providing services to the sick, and helps to curb the costs of expensive medical bills. The United States should use the National Health Insurance model in its healthcare systems. This is because although the insurance companies are run privately all payments come from government programs whereby all the citizens contributes to; this method happens to be less costly and will save the U.S from spending much on the health care systems.

The U.S should ensure that every citizen has a medical insurance which will help them pay up their bills after getting medical services; this will help in bridging the gap between the poor and elderly who are left out from being insured. The United States government should also ensure that children are insured and as they reach eighteen years of age they have their own medical cover as this will help in ensuring that costs are reduced as the insurance companies pay the bill. The government should ensure that healthcare services are not overcharged so as to ensure everyone is able to access them, at an affordable cost.

Healthcare coverage should be provided to everyone; this is because healthcare is a right rather than a privilege. We cannot just sit down and watch people suffering because we claim they chose to but rather policies should be made to ensure that everyone has access to the healthcare services. The unequal distribution of healthcare services in the U.S is because of the gap between the poor and the rich; the rich are able to pay for the bills which are high while the poor have no money to pay for the service. This can be stopped by ensuring that everyone especially the poor are medically insured so as to balance the healthcare systems.
