1. In the historical use of orange, the researcher indicates that nurses observed most of the patient's benefits from smelling and testing during reinfusion, but the researcher again argue that no study has been conducted to validate or refute the efficacy of it. Nurses only initiated the treatment for them. this a problem statement of the research (Polit&Beck,2012). The purpose of the statement has been argued at the autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation subtopic, in each paragraph in this subtopic there is the purpose of the study. The clinical problem, the purpose of the study and research questions or research hypothesis are shown in the autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, historic use of orange and aroma-associated intervention studies subtopic. Like as it is shown by the potter et al book that in the introduction part it describes the purpose of the study whereby the researcher explains the significance of his study. Then the research question is the question which a researcher need to answer during the resulting period. This is the purpose of the study which it has been but in a questioning manner while research hypothesis is the prediction which a researcher talk about the possibilities results of a research (Potters, 2011)
2. The article did not show the state of the study, the purpose of the study, the objective of the study clearly. The researcher actually never state any knowledge of the topic to the reader since it started explaining directly on the objective of the study and a reader should identify the purpose of the study inside the explanation. The researcher has argued well and refers to the previous studies well which it can be used in the research study (Potters,2011)
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
3. The research was quantitative since the researcher collected information using the questionnaires in order to analysis result using tables. The importance of the quantitative is that the data is analyzed and summarized in a factual manner, but its problem is that they cover a lot of information of the personal experience in it this makes it be an easy conclusion and the flow of the research is possibly able to be determined (Potters,2011)
4. Stratified sampling was used by identifying a certain age group in the research and excluding a certain group and the convenience sampling is used. This is where members are selected based on their willingness and convenient accessibility. The sampling affects the inclusion and the exclusion criteria since it will minimize another group not to participate will allowing other to participate so the researcher will depend mostly on the purposes he/she chose to study (Potters,2011).
5. The researcher collected the data through the help of the other staff whereby the other nurses identify the patient identified by other nurses providing clinical care and consented by one of the investigators during myeloablative chemotherapy in the research. The data is collected by the researcher himself who is a nurse and feed the data directly on his computer this is the data which it has been identified by the other nurse according to the objective of his research (Potters,2011)
6. The data adequacy in the research is based on the utilization of the different statistical method which it has been used in order for the reliability and validity of the database information among the selected sample which it is being studied (Potters,2011)
