As such, the focus on the establishment of walls has led to increased division of families, communities, and society in general . M ost pundits argue that the walls have negatively impact ed the society . A good example is the wall dividing Palestine and Israel . In this case, c itizens are involved in barring entry of immigrants, and this has led to several n egative repercussion s including the death of innocent im migrants. In conclusion, the modern society is increasing becoming walled at individual, national, regional and global levels. The reasons for the trend vary from one party to another and are informed by particular and spatial based challenges. However, despite the different justifications, adverse implications of the trend cannot be overstated. Overall, therefore, an increase in the number of walls is closely associated with a rise in societal disintegration.
