Other giant tech companies also had significant openings with the likes of Amazon standing at 72% and Google at 67%. According to the report by Glassdoor, these technical employees are also paid a salary of between $80,000 and $120,000 which is significantly higher than salaries for the other employees.

The report further indicated that Software Engineer was the most sought-after skill by the tech companies. The job openings for this particular skill stood at 9,038 which are about 12.7% of all the other technical job vacancies in the tech companies across the United States. Close to it is the Software Development Engineer at 8.9%. The list goes on with others such as Product Manager, Program Manager, Systems Engineer and Business Architect making it to the top ten most sought skills.
The report puts into perspective the ever-growing need for quality and timely production. To meet this need, the tech companies hire the technical workers who play a significant role in the production process. The technical workers then work under the supervision of the project manager to produce quality products for the consumers. The emphasis on quality is a growing demand in the project management process.
