I believe that I made the right choice by taking this capstone course. I was able to pick carry out a research-based project that I presented both in written format and orally, giving me a chance to comprehensively address a pressing issue that I felt needed to be solved in the healthcare system. My key takeaways from this class that I intend on carrying with me are that
Whenever I perceive a problem within my life or occupation, I should conduct research and look for the cause and solution which I can use to remedy the issue
Delegate your assignment to our experts and they will do the rest.
I have also learned that it is essential to ask for help when I am struggling or not sure what to do as I got help from the professor and my peers during the course
I have also learned the importance of using evidence-based sources when researching as they informed me of how best to carry and present my research (University of Maryland University College, 2011).
To bring my paper and presentation together, I had to choose SMART goals. After selecting my topic, I made goals that were specific, measurable attainable, relevant to the research, and were time-bound. These goals allowed me to carve out three hours each day for me to concentrate on the assignment. I also had to conduct research and speak with various people who were better informed on my topic to ensure that my research was progressing well (North Hennepin Community College, 2019). The experience has shaped your professional outlook as it has made me gain more insight into issues in healthcare and how best to address them.
For any students who wish to take this capstone course in the future, I would advise them to look for a new healthcare issue that has not been well documented to ensure originality (North Hennepin Community College, 2019). This will allow them to research without being biased by the numerous researches carried out, thus informing their practice while also leaving them feeling accomplished. I would also advise them to ensure they use current research and evaluate their sources (Washington University, 2020). I would also recommend them to seek help from the professor and other knowledgeable persons in their field of study as they can offer them valuable insight.
