I chose an iPhone 6 because it is an object I own, and I can no t do without it in my daily routine. The iPhone has plenty of important parts, but the top five parts are; the chassis, display, battery, processor, and radiofrequency transceiver. All these components come from different parts of the world, meaning a combined effort of labor is involved in designing and constructing the iPhone (Gould & Villas-Boas, 2016) .
Foxconn and Pegatron in China manufactured the chassis on my iPhone. This is where the entire assembling of chassis happens. The company employs highly skilled workers from different parts of the world and it is the combination of different ideas that contribute to the manufacture of a high-quality chassis for the iPhone.

The display is crucial on the iPhone since it is the interface that makes it possible to operate the iPhone. My iPhone utilizes the OLED display, which both Samsung and LG manufacture. These are two giants in technology with excellent quality products. The manufacturers are located in Korea and Japan.
The battery is also an essential component of the iPhone. It helps to keep the iPhone powered. Apple hired Samsung battery executive Soonho Ahn which is in charge of the production of iPhone batte ries. Currently, Ahn is now the company's global head of battery development. The Li-ion battery is manufactured in Japan.
The processor is critical in supporting the functions of the iPhone. The companies that manufacture the processor are; Samsung in South Korea and TSMC in Taiwan. Another partner in the production of the iPhone’s processor is GlobalFoundries which is located in the United States. They have the best tech wizards who come up with different types of chipsets to suit the desired speeds for the iPhone. The processor is vital in blazing fast performance and power efficiency.
The radio frequency transceiver is also another key component of my iPhone. This is produced at Qualcomm in the United States, and Win Semiconductors produced in Taiwan. The Avago technologies and TriQuint Semiconductor also help in radio frequency modules.
The contribution of different manufacturers towards the Apple iPhone is vital for the success of the iPhone. The collaboration of manufacturers from different parts of the world ensures that great minds from different parts of the world combine to come up with one of the best smartphones in the world.

The production of the iPhone 6 has impacted the world in many ways. The Apple product has its largest components manufactured in East and Southeast Asia. In this region, labor is cheap and easily available. The presence of the different manufacturers in different parts of the world contributes to the growth of the different economies of the world by way of creating thousands of job opportunities across the globe. For example, Foxconn is a Taiwanese company specializing production and assembling of electronic products has created over 200,000 jobs. This is a great input to the economy, especially the employees who depend on the company for livelihood.
Additionally, the improvement in technology and additional features on the Apple products, especially iPhones, has enhanced creativity in the people who manufacture the iPhone. For instance, when Apple CEO Steve Jobs wanted to have a glass screen installed on an iPhone, many American companies saw it as an impossibility. Still, Chinese companies accepted the challenge and installed the unit. This is an impact in terms of the development of unique high-tech skills in the manufacturers of the iPhone.
The fact that manufacturers can see the world connect through the iPhone makes them feel the impact they have on the world greatly. With the company manufacturing and selling millions of iPhones, it is fulfilling for those who take part in the manufacturing process to know their impact on the buyers of the product. Additionally, the user’s attachment to the iPhone is a good sign that the production is impactful.
Through using the same products like mine, the manufacturers are happy to see this work in actual use and experience firsthand use of their products. This makes it easy for iPhone manufacturers to communicate and interact with applications that make the world better. The installation of essential applications like the exercise app makes it easy to keep the manufacturers fit as apple has the best apps to keep users fit and remind them of the routines and also measure outcomes of the effort.
The human species is now happy and able to experience the real world through the camera. The iPhone has improved the way people socialize through exchanging pictures and videos. This impacts the users of the iPhone as they can get in touch with the real world and explore nature with excellent video and images.
For the owners of the companies, iPhone production has an impact globally and adds value to the technology world. Through the innovation, the manufacturer is proud to have contributed a lot to the way people interact by boosting communication and exchanging plenty of ideas through the phone. By selling the iPhone, Apple owners can compete well in the business world and make plenty of revenue from iPhone selling. Sharing of revenue by the companies contracted by Apple to make the different parts of the iPhone have benefited in boosting revenue of different economic regions . It is also a good avenue to network and has the business done by different units worldwide. With plants in other regions, Apple can coordinate the iPhone production with the help of the companies that produce different parts. This has impacted the social and economic world.
The different companies that work with Apple are located in different parts of the world. Even though most of them are in Asia, it is still important to note that the diversity of the locations makes Apple a giant business. Through the location, the environmental impact is critical. With manufacturing, carbon emissions are generated, which is hazardous to the environment. However, the use of the product is not as dangerous as the manufacturing process since the emissions are not as much.
On the local social system, the impact of the iPhone is key as it is great. The availability of the iPhone has transformed society in plenty of ways. For instance, through messaging, the iPhone allows users to call, email, text, facetime, and apply social networking. The application affects society to allow individuals and businesses to communicate easily and fast to boost businesses and social interaction.
Through the iPhone, the local politics, families, and economics are shaped. I can read about the political environment from my iPhone and know the political pressure outside. With the iPhone, I can quickly call, text, and even email to get news regarding the political situation in my local. This has a significant impact politically regarding the iPhone. About families, the iPhone is a mode of connecting with people. It is easy to connect with family members and chat through the different modes on the iPhone. This is impactful since it improves communication between families and allows for easy information delivery to family members. Thus, it brings everyone closer to each other.
Regarding the economy, the manufacturing of the iPhone has improved the way businesses are done. It is easy to communicate with business partners and transact business muc h easier. It has also added to the revenue-generating entities, especially to the business community and the manufacturers. This is a great impact of the iPhone on the entire society.
The three conditions above can be well explained using the Apple Ansoff Matrix approach. According to Dudovskiy (2021), this approach comprises four sections: market penetration, product development, market development, and diversification. By selling products to the existing markets, Apple can have the best approach to market penetration. This allows the people who made the iPhone have more market for the product. Additionally, product development comprises developing new products and selling to the existing market. This impacts the economy and allows the company's owners to become innovative and develop the latest units for the market. Finding new markets is part of market development, where the company gets new buyers in emerging economies. This is crucial to expanding the company's impact to enhance social, economic, and overall growth in terms of smooth communication. Through diversification, Apple can bring in new products other than iPhone that impact society as well. This theory is crucial in helping Apple's development and success in the modern tech world.
In summary, the iPhone has revolutionized the mobile experience. Communication between people across the globe is much easier and this helps to connect business people, friends and family much easier. In addition, iPhone users can access information easily with the help of their gadgets and this is especially important for students, teachers and researchers. The fact that Apple produces iPhones with different companies and locations helps to create job opportunities for many people across the globe. This form of collaboration also explains how a business can work better when different entities work together as a team.
