The organization and perpetuation of the Jewish holocaust was a shocking activity that created a dark spot not only in the minds of the Jews but also non-Jews alike. The magnitude of such a crime involved a complicated organization at various government hierarchies which required the participation of more than a single individual. The Nazi politician and activist Adolf Eichmann involvement in this injustice against humanity is a special case in the post-holocaust history. He undertook not only the transportation of the Jews from their peaceful homes to the gassing locations and other butcheries but also provided logistics that ensured the smooth conduction of this crime is in charge of the Jewish problem in the Nazi regime.

Following the participation of Adolf Eichmann and the Israeli pursuance of Eichmann so as to smuggle him, arraign him in court and execute him being the only case handled by Israeli is of great historical significance. It is undeniable that the Holocaust was conducted and the hearts of many Jews were made sad but to punish a single individual for the crimes conducted by many as a way of getting vengeance is unrealistic in a system that purports to strengthen justice. Such a progress cannot nature reconciliation but a chain of revenge between nationalities. The Israeli court should have moved with utmost discretion in handling the matter having observed that Adolf Eichmann was only following orders and that he lacked mens rea that is he had not reconciled within himself that he was actually doing wrong by supporting the Jewish holocaust.

Historically one would see Eichmann as being a very vile but looking into the judgment of Eichmann a different picture is portrayed. Legally his case did not deserve an execution. He was following orders which many people still do under their governments. The historical portrayal thus presents an inaccurate portrayal of the motives under which Eichmann was acting.
