The first article portrays that due to the increasing demand of the nurses in the various healthcare institutions in the United States of America; nurses have become temporarily assigned to their units and can flexibly move around to the other units to take care of the patients. That is referred to as nurse floating. The issue of nurse floating and especially in the United States has become a matter of concern as the nurses report job dissatisfaction, an indicator of the stress they are facing at work. However, some of the hospitals in the various states across the United States of America have given the nurses options to float or not. Some of the reasons that have been given for floating the nurses are to cater for the nurse shortages, abrupt increases in the patients in a given unit, and the issues such as the absence of the nurses (Pyati, 2014). 

The nurses who are floated to unfamiliar units may be stressed out as they try to cater for the patients who have complicated cases, which the nurses may not be exposed to in the past. That leads to their reduced productiveness at work. The nurses can be provided with adequate information before being floated to the other units in their workplace (Pyati, 2014). The floated unexperienced nurses may suffer loneliness and anxiety when they are floated to the other units around the hospital. One way of dealing with that is to ensure that there is full time employed registered nurses who specialize in floating.

According to Charlene (2013) the issue of floating has had multifaceted effects on the nurses in the various medical institutions across the United States of America. Some of the nurses have been pleased with floating as it has enabled them to discover the other areas in the hospitals and interact with new patients. However, some other nurses in the same institutions have cited floating as their reasons to be stressed at work. Such nurses have been faced with many and uneven patient assignments. The nurses have been floating in the various departments and handling patients with different conditions altogether. The other stressor that the floating nurses have been faced with is the lack of familiarity and necessary preparations to handle the patients in the various units of the hospital (Charlene, 2013). That leads to their anxiety and feelings of incompetence. The nursing staff reported having physical and mental exhaustion. The nurses also had significantly reduced consistency in the interactions with the patients leading to poor quality patient care. 

The third article focuses on the issue of job stress and the coping mechanisms for the nurses in the public health services. Many factors may be regarded as stressors to the working of the nursing staff. The trend of job stress among the nursing staff is increasing day and night with their expectations growing even more as health care is becoming more modernized. A qualitative and quantitative survey was conducted to find out the causes and effects of the job stress among the nursing staff and the various mechanisms they put into place to avoid the stressor to deal with it. The study was based in the state of Selangor Darul Ehsan, in Malaysia. A total of 185 samples in two groups were collected as data in a specific hospital on the state. A self-administered questionnaire survey was used in this case (Beh & Loo, 2012). 

The results of the study indicated that the nursing job itself is a source of stress among the nurses. The subcategories in the job stressors were the poor working conditions, heavy workload, and the low pay that the nurse in the Malaysian hospital claimed to be receiving. Additionally, the participants in the research added that the inconsiderate and unsupportive superiors in their work, failure to be recognized for what they are doing and the conflicts among themselves further worsened their stress at work. The stress was found out to affect their working at the hospitals and their relationships with the patients, colleagues at work and their family members and friends to the negative (Beh & Loo, 2012). The dominant method of coping for the nurses was to seek the social buffers against the negative consequences of stress. That would come from their families, colleagues, and friends. 

In the fourth article, the authors have identified the relationship between job satisfaction and the organizational performance. Empirical research was performed on forty large and medium-sized companies in Croatia. A total of 5806 employees were surveyed in the study. The research hypothesis in the study was for the fact that job satisfaction is one of the critical principles of organizational performance. The results of the research performed on the Croatian companies indicated that there was a direct link between the job satisfaction and organizational performance and especially in the perspectives of the employees. The results of the empirical research also revolutionized how job satisfaction and organizational performance were viewed (Bakotić, 2016). That was made possible by both the analysis of the current and the previous years in the organizational performance and job satisfaction. 

Detailed analysis of the data collected in the research indicated that the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational performance is stronger than that of the organizational performance and job satisfaction. Indirectly, the various factors that are part of job satisfaction have a lot to do with the sustainability of the organizational performance (Bakotić, 2016). Such factors include the nature of the work that the employees are involved in, their interaction with the coworkers, and the conditions at work, among others.
