Cleveland Clinic is excellent in many aspects; however, it needs to improve its payments system as this poses a considerable weakness that can bring issues soon. The organization also needs to collaborate more with international bodies to penetrate more into the global market. Cleveland derives its significance performance from its philosophy of patient first. The patient first approach has made its management to redefine the organization structure to suit the patients’ needs. The hospital uses a unit-based structure that orients at offering multi-dripline work climates. The unit-based structure is the core of coordination, consultation, and innovation in the hospital. Financially, the organization has performed beyond its expectation. A whopping $466 million in operating income in the year 2014 speaks of its financial energy. Its international performance is excellent, and people attribute it to innovation. Advanced technology also plays a crucial role in enhancing the organization performance. It is one of the organizations to implement patient electronic record documentation, and since then, technology is at the heart of its operations.
Cleveland Clinic, however, must work on the manner of remitting the staffs. They need to adopt performance measures and also come up with ways of motivating the staffs to achieve and improve on their performance. Some staffs may get discouraged by such a system, and this may not show a good picture of the society and potential workers. Adopting a standard payment would solve this matter.
